I don't know about that - When we first arrived, a manager ran over to us, complimented us on our costumes, told us it was fine to have our pictures taken but NOT to sign any autographs (which we hadn't planned on doing, anyways), and then gave us a voucher for ice cream for everyone in our group (I think there were 7 or 8 of us in total!). I know that CM's all over the park heard about us long before we reached their area of the park.
At the end of the night, when we went to see Cinderella and Prince Charming, management arranged a special one on one meet and greet with them - so they not only allowed us in, but helped make quite a bit of magic for us as well.
At one point, when we were walking through the park with the real Anastasia and Drizella and step mother (after they invited us to invade a dance party with them), we ended up with our own character escort CM's (There were about 8 around the three character, and my friend and I).

Tell me about it! My 12 year old is 5'6, 120 pds, and has muscles on top of muscles (thanks to karate, she can kick anyone's butt) - but finding her a costume that doesn't make her look like a mini-whore is almost impossible!Amphigorey wrote:I have to say, it is really hard to find readymade adult costumes for women that aren't Sexy [Pirate / Cop / Cat / Mustard Bottle].
What happened to dressing up for fun, not to attract the male eye?

Could she go as The Hulk?Teresa Kay wrote:Tell me about it! My 12 year old is 5'6, 120 pds, and has muscles on top of muscles (thanks to karate, she can kick anyone's butt) - but finding her a costume that doesn't make her look like a mini-whore is almost impossible!

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Actually, joking aside, that's not a half bad idea, Hobie. Not as the Hulk, but rather as She-Hulk! Admittedly, depending on the costume, it could show off a bit too much skin, but...hobie16 wrote:Could she go as The Hulk?

I wasn't joking. With the kid's described build, the Hulk would be ideal. Use shredded clothing to get the idea across but make it just shredded enough so the kid doesn't look like Bimbo Hulk.CBeilby wrote:Actually, joking aside, that's not a half bad idea, Hobie. They are. You just can't act as the character (for example, signing autographs).Nobleman wrote:I thought replicas weren't allowed in?

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

even plus sized costumes are whore-ish, and let me tell you no one wants to see my fat (_*_) hanging out! Not to mention I wouldn't say they are meant to fit plus sized, more like I'm average.
