I've noticed more and more guests being irritated that I don't pin trade...
Oh well.
RIP Bud Hurlbut.
You will be missed.

Pin lanyards are tacky on any costume. I don't do it anymore, and I'm really glad about that.

Psh, health hazard anywhere! Well, to the CM at least. :p: And I agree, I don't like the lanyards and they way they look. And then there are those hip pouch lanyards...

Pins are dangerous! I've been poked by those stupid things more than once. If you wear the hip lanyard, they always get stuck on those magnet things to remove the security tags. I've had 2 or 3 stuck to the bottom of my shoe, what about people who walk around without shoes on? I found one pointing up on a ride vehicle seat, what if I didn't catch that and someone sat on it?
I remember one night out on the pin cart, it was 10 minutes til closing, then a swarm of Brazilian kids from one of those tours lined up to buy pins. Oh my god, it was crazy. Every kid bought a few pins, I'm thinking to myself "how do they have so much money to spend on this crap?!" and 15 minutes AFTER closing I was finally done with the line.

I will look for CMs with "tap" shoes on from now on...... now I know how some of them get scraped up :p:
Yes, they are dangerous,I've been stuck more than once, but never on the seat....I keep my eyes peeled for any lost pins,of course ;)
