My friend and I recently went into one of those Halloween "Spirit" stores that crop up every season, and we had to go all the way to the back of the store before we saw any women's costumes that weren't stripper costumes.
My wife has been complaining for years about how tacky the costumes are. She has wanted to go as a princess for the last several years because she never got to as a child. Apparently "Spirit" thinks all princesses are also sluts. The sad thing in my opinion is even the teen costumes are trashy. What parent lets their teen dress like that???

Try Etsy... lots of seamstresses for commission on there. I got my costume for this year on there... (Beautiful pan collared, knee length Kuro Lolita dress, that I intend to get more than just halloween use out of.)

Last year I dressed up as a guy sitting on a porch handing out candy and drinking beer. I was sexy, damn sexy.

Cruella, Anastasia and Drizella, Shan Yu, and Belle.

Granted, as someone said before, it could have something to do with me being a professional costumer and making exact replica's... ;) Even management loved it!
I thought replicas weren't allowed in?

Does your costume involve a tail?

Why hello, I probably ran into you in the break room last night, I was giving out candy on the back trail.

I've noticed so far this year that we are being really lax about costumes, both when they can be worn and some of the things we let in.

As a matter of fact it does, it would be strange if it didn't as I wear a tail...almost...everywhere.

I'm not sure you want to know.
