Pin trading monsters
You know, sometimes it's Disney encouraging bad behavior. One of my blog readers just sent me a (rather humorous) picture of the pin-trading sign in Frontierland, that seems to be suggesting that... well, take a look for yourself:

As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to share it with you guys. I hope this makes you laugh as much as it did me!

Re: Pin trading monsters
I firmly believe that public shaming should be the punishment for managers who come up with things like this. How to Pin Trade:
1. Look for a Woody-impersonating cast member with a lanyard.
2. Yank the friggin' thing off of his neck.
3. He'll give you whatever you want.
This is totally not the WDW experience, there's a fine line.
Pedobear assaulting Woody is not a cool sign.

I think you CMs should be able to use that Dog Behavioral Training trick of promptly stepping on the toes of whatever critter grabs your lanyard/jumps up on you.... ;)

Stepping on toes? Tazers? Come, come, now, that's not the proper way to teach obedience. You should spray the offending critter using a water bottle, while firmly repeating, "No! Bad <insert critter type here>!".
Then you move on to stepping on toes and using tazers. :cat1:

I say get the guy from Dog Whisper. Ceasar could train the SG. If he can get the dogs corrected, I can see him train the guests. Add a dog collar and leash to the SG. They do something stupid, he pulls on the leash and corrects them. :D:
Re: Pin trading monsters
If that's the case, maybe you should make sure they're shock collars. :twisted:turkeyham wrote:I say get the guy from Dog Whisper. Ceasar could train the SG. Re: Pin trading monsters
I think a shock buzzer remote controlled by CMs who get poked and groped for pin trading.
My kids are pin trading addicts, and no matter how many times I tell them not to touch the CM's lanyard and let them hold it out, there are the few times they start poking at what pin they want. A good shock might make them remember more than my nagging! I will say, bless the CM pin traders, always nice and patient thankfully- although I can imagine it must get trying.
