Trammin'

Post by c0pperboom » Sat Sep 18, 2010 11:31 am

Hi! So I'm new here, obviously, but I was at DHS the other day and encountered one of the stupidest guest tricks I'd ever seen, and a friend had told me to post it on here.

So, my friend and I were on the tram to DHS from the parking lot, and they did the usual "do not exit the tram, keep small children in the middle" spiel. We were in one of the first lots too, so it was maybe a 10 minute walk from the main gate.

As the tram starts moving, and approaches it's full speed, we hear a woman behind us with her husband and son(who was about 5), say "They are really going to yell at me for this..." Then, we see her jump OFF the tram!!! My friend and I were in complete shock as she falls, basically on her head, then gets up and runs back to her car. The kid is crying for his mom, and the only thing the husband can muster up is "What a moron."

The tram stops for a few seconds, sees that she ran away, then starts to move again.

I don't know if I was more shocked that a) she thought she was going to land on her feet b) the husband was completely oblivious or c) no one tried to find this woman to see if she was okay.

It was an interesting start to my day, to say the least!

And later that day a woman is taken to the hospital. She is diagnosed with an acute subdural hematoma. Any connection? You be the judge.

If you seriously forgot something at the car, wait for the next tram. Jumping is a great was to be banned from the parks! I can see her excuse, I slipped on a pile of gravel in the parking lot. I will be fine. :D:

Hmm, I seem to have been lax in my welcoming duties as of late, you must forgive me, I have been...preoccupied.

Hello c0pperboom, I am the resident dragon and would like to offer you a very warm* welcome to that slice of the internet we call SGT. This website contains threads with quick twists and turns and I would like to advise you to not try to hard to keep up with them. Please keep your hands, arms, and legs safely inside the website at all times and enjoy your stay.

*this instance of warm is actually hot**... very hot

**this instance of hot means that you are now literally on fire, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience
