Hey, you kids, get off my lawn! Gol darn ya! :oscar:

Actually, it does make sense and is fair. While "sharing" is a great thing, it doesn't mean letting everyone who wants to use the stuff you paid for just because they want it. The reason those amenities are put into a hotel are to attract paying customers, thus paying customers should at least have first crack at them, and if the hotel says they are only for the guest staying at the hotel, I personally bear them no ill-will for that decision.

Hey, there's a daybed in my room I'm not using. Should I "share" that as well? Want me to "share" my KTTW with you so you can enjoy Extra Magic Hours without staying onsite? After all, it's not fair for me to have anything you aren't entitled to, even if you choose not to pay for it, right?

People, the "sharing" comment was for posting. No I don't want to "share" someone's daybed eew.

I also don't want to "share" benefits I am not entitled to. My comment was "thanking" the pp for posting. Nothing more :jiminy:

I think what has us confused is your use of quotation marks around the word sharing. This usually implies a certain emphasis on the word, and a lot of times means to read that part as sarcasm.

So ... let's say that I have a reservation at Trail's End at the Campground. I arrive early, and happen to notice a swingset near the restaurant entrance, with nobody on it. (and a swing that happens to be high enough off the ground that an adult can use it) Because I'm not staying at the Campground, am I prohibited from swinging for a few minutes?

No you are not prohibited to sit on a swing but I would like to have a chair by the pool as I am paying almost 1000 bucks per night at the GF .
It is really annoying that I have to wonder around looking for a chair when half the visitors are not even staying onside.
O and yes you can see them arriving from the boats . Big backpacks and hopping into the rest rooms to change.
Boy I wish Disney would enforce checking room keys for entrance

To further that, how about if I am just walking through the Ft and the CMs out front of trail's end challenge me to horseshoes? (Kind of fun to walk around with Doug the GM and be challenged to horseshoes by his cast, he's a great CM)
