Monorail Expansion

Post by Monorail_Red » Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:55 pm

Well it hit the news, we're getting a small expansion. By small I mean just 62 feet.

It's just an area to park a work tractor, which is not a bad idea at all. I would like to see a much larger expansion of the system, however.

Good deal. Expanding the track would be 'prohibitive' ,money wise that is. :(

Is it going to be covered?
Also realized the media is wrong again, some outlets are reporting that it will hold a spare train. As BW said in his (old) spiel, it's not known whether two monorails can successfully occupy the same space which would be required to fit a spare train on this magic beam.

Out of respect for my fellow cast members, I'm not going there.

It would be nice if it was able to do that...because there's a lot of small fixes that they send a train to shop for, it would be easier and save time to do it there.

Yeah, sorry I can't go back and edit it out. The media is just once again being idiots.

Yeah, I saw that, Red, made me think that they must need to get those tractors out a lot more than they used to...

I was sad this trip because I swear, the trains looked old to me- they really, really need to spend some cash on the system...

And the Tron thing!!! Yikes!!! Sorry just had to throw that in there lol

They will not spend money on it while the system is still operational. The co. adopted a beliefe some time back... "If it aint broke.. dont fix it... and If is broke.... Put some duct tape on it... " Hence Stitches Great Escape.....
