Is CP for the
college students or for the parents? I just visited another board where there are a bunch of posts from the parents asking about the discounts. It seemed like all the parents were interested in was the discount their CP kid could get for them.

Demanding, demanding.
Remember when the monorail driver died?
Those lunatics on board X started sending complaining e mails to Disney before the body of the victim was removed from the accident.
They just were furious that MAYBE the could not use the monorail for there upcoming stay which was weeks ahead. They were demanding a refund because IFF they could not use the mono there whole Disney experience would go down the drain.

Yes, I remember that. It still makes me mad every time I see someone complaining about not being able to ride in the front of the monorail. THEIR trip is ruinedIce Bear wrote:Gimme, gimme?

Ditto. I'm sad we can't ride up front any more, but it wasn't the ONE thing that our entire trip hinged on. Heck, it wasn't even in the list of "Things we need to do while at WDW to make us happy." Entitlement issues, that's what's wrong with people. They want it all, they want it for less than anyone else got it for, and they want it NOW!lilogirl wrote:Yes, I remember that. It was years before I knew you could ride up front. We made up for it by getting three rides on our last trip.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

It's funny. When I did my first CP, I knew nothing about all the message boards out there (and didn't even really know about the CP until right before I applied). So I was learning everything as I went. The CP sure has gotten more popular since I first went down. Also, my mom is not big on technology at all (so if anyone had been posting questions, it would have been me and not her).

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

That is okay..those people are the reason why the dorms are never full.. Cause we fire their lil angel for the parents behavior when they get here.lilogirl wrote:college students or for the parents? Yup, CP fired, CP evicted, parents evicted and trespassed, and Mears on call to take them off property.
Better, CP parent uses kid discount for merchandise and sells it on ebay...CP fired and evicted, and parent arrested for grand theft.
Some days are just too good to think about, huh?

These Stupid Parent Tricks must be very satisfying for the security CMs who get to see them to their conclusion !mapo wrote:That is okay..those people are the reason why the dorms are never full.. Cause we fire their lil angel for the parents behavior when they get here.

They make people get a license to drive a car, but any idiot is allowed to reproduce and raise a child.

My kid wants to work in the CP later. I never even thought about there being any benefit for me. I want her to get the benefit of working for a world class organization, not be there so I can get discounts!
I'm glad Disney isn't taking any of their crap and is culling the ones who aren't serious about the program.
