I had no idea these groups were so bad! I haven't seen one of these groups personally but they sound like hell on wheels (and with vuvuzelas, to boot).

CMs have my sympathies and my appreciation...not only do you put up with the worst of our lot (regular guests) but you also have to put up with the horn-tooting morons that roam in packs. Y'all deserve our thanks if not medals.

Will they be gone by mid-August? I'm afraid of what my dh might do with one of those things if someone uses one too close to him.

We never had too many problems previously...or maybe we were just lucky.

My gawrsh, bru! These certainly seem like the type that should be kicked off property to whatever I-Drive motel will take them in (though, since word gets around, there probably aren't that many left). God bless you for putting up with it as long as you did, and I'm happy to read that the CMs came through for you like they did.

She didn't ask for magic, but it happened in the most unusual of ways. Kind of like what Jiminy Cricket said...

Gawrsh, yah-huh!

I would seriously hate to see what happens if you got a group of them on a Disney Cruise ship? Would they be tossed off before they get on?

Or just leave them in Nassau. They'd be closer to home.

How fo they make it through the security check pionts at the international airports? Would they be checking in the horns on their luggage?

Also, for the cruise ship, let them on and toss the horns.

One of our CM's heard that they're here for another 2 weeks. Yesterday they entertained themselves by shattering the masks we use at TL for the shark reef. Today, they just took them and hid them all over the park for us to find. We had over 100 masks "wander away", which of course made the other guests wait longer for clean ones to use on the attraction.

I think the Brazilian parents send their special little snowflakes here so that they can have a vacation from them.

Is it just me or are the number of these groups getting worse? I remember vacationing with my family (always in July) in the 90's, and seeing them on occasion. I'd get annoyed when a couple from the group would get in line ahead of us, and then before you know it, the entire group would push and weasel their way through. But that would happen maybe once or twice a trip, and aside from that we didn't notice them much.

Now I live in Orlando, and this year seems especially bad. I go to Epcot a lot on the weekends, and for the past couple, they are just EVERYWHERE. I mean, I couldn't look in any direction and not see tour group shirts and flags on a stick.

At one point I went into that large "hallway" that's behind the Coke Cool Station, or whatever it's called, and the Character spot, and there were literally dozens of kids lying down on the floor, all through the entire place, sleeping. It was really bizarre. They weren't just resting for a few, either. I walked through there again a couple hours later (I like to walk through the AC :D :) and the same people were still sleeping.

I could say, "hey at least they weren't out in the park" but there were still plenty out there mobbing the place.
