Amen. I laugh everytime I see a WDW commercial and the teacups have no roof! It's the first ride hubby and the kids do, so I know very well that it has a cover....go figure!Disneyguy85 wrote:Although they really shouldn't try to pass off Disneyland for WDW and vice versa.

Yes, but that could be because the lighting is much better. It's the same ride just one has a roof and the other doesn't.DragonFox98 wrote:Amen. I know. You can probably get better film of the ride itself as well as the family's faces. I just think it's funny when I KNOW that that particular version of the ride is not at WDW. But, can you imagine some poor guest's face when they get to The Mad Tea Party and realize it has a roof?Goofyernmost wrote:Yes, but that could be because the lighting is much better. I can tell you now firsthand that I still like Wishes better, even with the Pirate music.
Illuminations is still the very best though. Makes me cry every single time. So beautiful.
Not so beautiful the crowd I got stuck in on the way out of MK after the fireworks- I couldn't believe they opened up cast areas behind Main Street to route people around then back in and out the turnstiles. Blew my mind. I was mighty grateful they did though I was really getting woozy in that crowd (it's something I generally avoid like the plague- I lost track of time this one time).

Re: OMG What did they DO?
I wish we had the arcades like DLP has to let guests bypass main street (especially when it's filled with thousands of guests, tour groups, it's raining and the PACs are trying to do two way into a large crowd of non-moving people, or as I call it--last Tuesday night) but keep theme instead of taking the bypass through backstage.February wrote: I couldn't believe they opened up cast areas behind Main Street to route people around then back in and out the turnstiles. Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

Yeah, me too, for a moment I could feel Walt spinning in his grave as I walked past a garbage dumpster then back out onto main street but in my case it beat the living hell out of passing out and getting trampled. I was sad they had to do it but grateful (it was last Wednesday night, btw. I forget where I was Tuesday night LOL)
