At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

No, but the pilots I know can fly any plane, they may not be familiar with the location of all the controls and switches, but they can control the aircraft in a safe manner. I've been in the sim with a friend of mine while he trained FO's, and the guy manning the Captain's seat was not checked out, nor very familiar with the cockpit. He could still fly it just fine.
Then I got to take the FO seat for a bit, took off, flew around, and landed it. A bit bumpy, but as they all told me "Good enough to save the lives of a couple hundred people."
I am just going by what Disney called the balloon. "Ear-force One"
Ya know, hindsight is 20/20, but perhaps you should have brought up this bit of detail in your original post. Just sayin'...

You'll find that many pilots maintain ratings in a number of different types of aircraft. A lot of National Air Guard pilots that fly front line combat aircraft have a day job as commercial airline pilots.
The basics for flying the Goodyear blimp are the same used to fly a 747. The difference between the two are speed, altitude attained, and instrumentation.

but a Balloon Pilot license is different then a plane pilot license.

Sorry I assumed a board full of Disney freaks (not a bad term) would know what ear-force one was. My mistake to think Disney people would know anything about Disney history. Lesson learned. Just sayin'...

That's precisely my point, he never said they were the same thing, just that they both fall under the same regulations. And your post was towards hobie who was attempting to be philosophical and also didn't say a balloon was the same as an airplane. This was in response to you saying that the answer given was for the wrong thing, which was a response to me saying an answer was given. After it was determined that you were talking about the balloon, the person who answered hadn't confirmed at that point that they were mistaken, and there was no reason to believe they were also mistaken about what you meant and therefore no reason to believe the answer given to be incorrect.
In fact, looking back at the thread, no one ever said they were the same thing so I don't know where you got that idea in the first place.
