I would go, but I have to work weekends. Scheduling does not believe in granting time off for CR's for some reason.

Would love to go to Tampa and see the Red Sox kick butt.

I have something I will pull on Red Sox fans. It really manages to annoy them.

For those wearing shorts, I will notice the colors of the socks they are wearing. Then start telling them (with their hats and shirts or jackets) that it is obvious to me that they really are not actual Red Sox fans. I can go on with this for a minute or so. When they are finally ready to kill me, I tell them they are obviously Chicago fans because of the color of their socks.

p.s. I have been a Yankees fan all of my life and a Mets fan all of their life.

pps. Judy and I were a mixed marraige, she was a staunch Brooklyn Dodgers fan.

^ We have a "mixed marriage" as well. :D: I was raised a Phillies fan (my parents and grandparents are from S. Jersey - I lived in NH for 11 years) and my hubby is a Yankees fan (born & raised). I like the Yankees and have rooted for them for years. However, we were definitely a house divided last October. Good times for our children....they go to see their parents egging each other on! :) (one day they would wear Yankees shirts, the next Phillies...we had fun)

Wait ... There's more than 1 of us Tigers fans on here?

(Granted, I usually stop paying attention to baseball once my team is eliminated, and being a Tigers fan, well, for most of my life that's usually meant "the day after Opening Day")
