Tinkerbell, thanks for the info on Donald! :) My son and I were on our way to use our FPs for Splash Mountain on this last trip (first time I actually saw him), and I did not have my camera or his autograph book. I told him we'd be back, no biggie....but we never made it there! I said "one more reason to come back!".

Lady Siren, we are very much like that, too. But the Snow White Stakeout happened on the first trip in 2006 with our kids. My daughter was six and, I swear, she absolutely NEEDED (lol) every princess's autograph. We ate at Akershaus for breakfast, but Ms. White wasn't there. We looked and looked everyday....it was kind of like a scavenger hunt!

But, for the most part, we walk around and, if we see someone (like we did with Capt. Hook & Mr. Smee this past trip), we hop in line.

the SG way of thinking: i spent a lot of money to come here. i took time off from work. i only have "x" amount of days here. i will do what i want, when i want and no one can tell me different. i will go to "all you can eat" w/empty container and fill it up w/food. my little child may not be tall enough to ride, but we don't know when we'll be back so you better let him/her ride it now. blah blah blah. i don't work for Disney, but i do work in retail. same attitude, diff surroundings. the vast majority of people are nice, understanding and polite. the rest are just plain ornery, and think we are in their universe and they are the ruler. i love WDW, every CM i've encountered was nice. you guys (CM) are very accommodating when the need arises. Thank you for all you do to make our trips enjoyable. my family will be there in August (1st time for aug - we usually go in Sept) looking forward to a wonderful vacation. see ya real soon!

DragonFox98 wrote:Are you kidding me?!?! Geez...we usually walk around and do meet and greets with the characters, but there are times where we do seek them out. I think in 2006 we were seeking Snow White...looking EVERWHERE for her. I asked a CM at every opportunity where I could find her. We finally cornered (kidding!) her in Germany. It just seemed that we "just missed" her every time. And it was almost the last day or two, I think, but if we hadn't seen her, we would've told the kids "next time". And anytime we've gone after, we always see her in Town Square with Dopey.

One day I will meet Frontierland Donald, though!!! That's one mission for our trip next March.
You and my daughter! Last trip she was denied twice....both times they'd just cut off the line. She got over it....really!

It's always a good excuse to plan another trip!
