BRW, the other side of town? :D: This is a small area. Does Plano even have another side of town? ;) You went to Anaheim, Dallas & Philly, yet you can't cross town of Plano. This is funny. :hysteria:

That makes me laugh! I've been to Dallas twice and criss-crossed town to see things. I had a friend that lived in Allen, TX at the time so he took me around town. Went to The Ginger Man (the one in the old house in Dallas), The Blue Goose, Stan's Blue Note, etc.

I will say, Dallas/Plano had wonderful places to eat and I thought it was a nice area.

Heh. I've been on that side of town many times, it's just not "local" to me. (The city's about 12 miles wide, and I'm on the far east side.) So, I don't go hunting restaurants there unless I get a recommendation. My wife had heard of the Blue Goose before, but honestly, if I had in my ten years of living here, I filed it away and forgot it. I'll remember it now!

There is a Blue Goose in Highland Village. 5 year old calls it "the bird place", which is good that she knows the name of Red Robin, otherwise I'd be confused if she actually chose to eat there! Wednesday's have $7.95 enchilada nights. Seafood enchilada's, on the cheap!

Gingerman in Dallas is a good place, lots of different types of beers. I haven't been in a few years though.

LOL BRW, you know I LOVE to tease you. :D: 12 miles wide?? I'll go further than 12 miles for a coke & ice cream. I should really be nicer to you, considering I just might need a fine lawyer. ;)

There's the beer comment. :D: darph has taught you well. ;) Gingerman, I have been told, is even good for non beer drinkers. Yes, there are some.

mmmmm...Dallas food...
When I was a kid my dad lived in Bedford. My favorite place to eat was Mercado Juarez. I don't know how it measures up to others, but for a 10 year old kid from Nebraska it ROCKED! (and they had Asteroids in the game room!) :D:
