Where did Wishes go? Why are they using a song that the main lyric is a girl shouting "Go!" over and over (it made me want to go, alright, as in LEAVE...)
The lyric is "I wanna go"

Still. Look closely at the video. You'll notice that all of the attractions and locations they show (Save for the castle) are from Disneyland, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone this but they are.

They've simply removed mention of "Magic, Music and Mayhem" (The original name of the show), and replaced it with "Summer Nightastic". But don't tell anyone!

The only good thing about this show, imo, is when they "blow up the castle" during the pirate sequence.

OK, we are NOT Board X! I was reading a whine festival last night about how WOC got a show cancelled on there, and how everyone whose lives were permanently ruined should get compensation from Disney, blah, blah, blah and thought I was going to hurl!

Having a moment of hoping something you love doesn't go away is nowhere near that!

And yet, it doesn't surprise me. There hasn't been a show Disney had ever put on that is worth all of this "WTF?! IT'S CANCELLED?!" garbage I'm hearing about. I could go into the "It's a new attraction/show, of course it's gonna have problems. Theres even the 'subject to change' thing on the maps" but I wont because Im too busy laughing over these people.

(And friends were wondering why I was giving it a while before I fly out to see the show. Now they get it)

Its strictly a rumor, and it supposedly wasn't just in one viewing section. There's been reports of four people doing it.

I can't believe the line for guest relations that was there when it was canceled. I can sympathize and understand the guests who bought a ticket, came out from another state, etc. who were talking to guest relations (nicely, I might add)...But the APers who were saying they were scarred for life because the WoC show didn't go on was obnoxious. You have an AP, come back another time!

I heard the APs were given fastpasses for any attraction with "NOT FOR WoC" written on them, priceless. Not sure what paying ticketholders got. I figure another ticket for another time?

Ah, the wonders of streamlined, pan-segment marketing campaigns, lol.

I remember wondering when Hollywood Pictures Backlot moved to WDW when I first saw the Florida-version of that ad, lol.

I just couldn't help but laugh at this. I'm pretty sure the Mad Tea Party at DL was filmed at some point when I was there because it looks like the construction wall around Storybook is still up. Could be wrong though.

*Sigh* Oh well. Gone are the days when marketing meant something other than simply getting people in the parks.

Yes, you are correct. It was originally filmed years ago for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. That footage is also used for the current Disneyland summer ad.

Disney gets a lot of mileage from stock footage. On one level you can't really blame them, it is economical. Although they really shouldn't try to pass off Disneyland for WDW and vice versa.
