These crows are out there in Fronierland and New Orleans. I have seen them. A few years ago DL used air cannons to distract them. You just have to wait for them.
Main Streeter-ask Rob about the crows. ODV and QSR vemding plea for the umbrellas to stay up 5 pm.
I have seen the crows drop pieces of the turkey leg bones.

That was darn considerate of the hawk. Hopefully the chipmunk was kind in return.

My daughter was walking home today and came across a baby Francolin wandering around in the middle of the street. No mama in sight so we're taking in another critter.
He/she is very active and quite vocal.

I was once playing paintball, and we all saw a good sized hawk giving a rattlesnake a ride. Needless to say, out in the brush, we all cheered for the hawk.

This morning backstage at Plaza Inn, one of the cashiers found a little bird that had flown down from its nest to the ground. The fledgling tried to hide behind a couple of wooden pallets that were leaning against Plaza Inn. The cashier that saw the little fledgling carefully got the bird in a napkin and then held it throughout Roll Call. Then we took it outside back near where the nest is in a vent on one of the other buildings behind Plaza Inn and let the little bird rest for a while. The cashier later saw Mama and Papa Bird come help get the little one back to the nest.

Oh, Hobie, how cute!!! Just tell your daughter to be careful....give it a couple of months and that baby may try to take a finger. Hope she can keep it alive and well until it can go off on its own.

I woke up about 4:15 AM and checked on the birdie. He/she was moving around a little bit so I picked it up to give it some body heat. The eyes opened so I fed it some gruel with a syringe.
It's now 1.5 hours later and he/she won't leave my hand. I believe I've turned into a nest.
