Cute little one too!
That Zazu is on the Lion King float in the Parade of Dreams. The problem is, you can only see it from one side, if you are on the other side of the parade route it's completely blocked. So, even if you've watched the parade you could totally miss it.

TY! I was a bit confused! I know I will probably get pummeled for this, but, we are not parade or fireworks people <ducks>. I found that if I am on Main Street during this time (the parade) that we can have some of the best conversations with CM's while shopping and if we are in other areas of the park, then it's not as busy and the same rings true.

Not that I've EVER met a bad CM on main street. Other than one time when I was looking at a crystal Daisy Duck for my petsitter who adores Daisy Duck (It's really hard to find anythind daisy these days. Look for me on the "bring back daisy' campaign") and she told me "you realize that is a swarovski crystal decorum and costs $350 dollars?" Apparently my apparel didn't represent my net worth so I chose to walk away from the sale. We ended up buying two lenox figurines from another shop. I sure hope she gets paid commission... <sigh>> We did save about $100 though, so kudo's to her for looking out for my social status and ability to buy "high dollar" items.

But that is neither here nor there. I had said I would never go back to that shop, but we did this past weekend and someone was so helpful we ended up buying a plate and a picture frame (from the same store I swore I would boycott for that one condescending woman). It just goes to show that maybe I took the original woman's comment wrong or that things had changed. Either way, the end result was the disney service i have become accustomed to. For the record, i did NOT mention the previous bad experience on this trip, they just provided exceptional service as they would to anyone. I think my last trip was either me being tired and taking it wrong or that person dealing with people all day.

Yeah, what everyone else said. The Zazu pics were from the parade. We usually aren't parade/fireworks people either (well, I'll stop and watch while my wife shops if it's close), we usually shop or hit the rides. We watched it for our daughter who LOVED it. Seeing her reaction to all of the characters she knows was worth the short wait and the rude family who thought they would try and stand in front of a 2 year old didn't bother us after my wife spoke up. I just wish we caught the parade earlier in the day when the lighting was better. Shadows and stupid popup flash made for difficult photos. I got lucky with Zazu though, that float stopped right in front of us so I snapped away.

Thank you! Our little one is cute (I'm not biased or anything). This was her 2nd trip to DL. She didn't enjoy meeting the characters so much, but if we told her to show us her teeth, she'd smile. She liked them, just at a distance. Breakfast at the Plaza Inn was so much fun, I'm glad we did that one again.
