Where's the Damn Bus?!?
For those not familiar with WDW, the Contemporary Resort is literally across the street from the Magic Kingdom -- closer than the DL Hotel is to DL. Sorry about the language, but I'm trying to be accurate here.
"How do I take a bus to the Magic Kingdom?"
"We have a monorail instead. It boards on the fourth...."
"I am *not* riding one of those stinking monorails, tell me how to take the damn bus."
"The Magic Kingdom is right across the street. The sidewalk will get you there in ten..."
"Screw that, I ain't walking, asshole, I'm taking the goddamn bus! Now tell me which one to take, you fucking moron!"
And thus she triggered something in my brain that caused me to switch from giving her the data she needed to giving her the data she asked for:
"Certainly, ma'am. From our bus stop, take the Animal Kingdom bus. When you arrive, transfer to the Saratoga Springs bus. From there, a Magic Kingdom bus will take you right to the entrance."
I hope she was happy three hours later when that last bus brought her right past the Contemporary on her way to the Magic Kingdom. I certainly was, I was long since home enjoying a brew by then.
Best set of directions since I told a woman how to get from Frontierland to Magic Mountain....

Did you wish them "have a great Disney day'?
(I still say that Disney should not allow the CM's to endure verbal abuse from moron SG's)
(actually, any abuse should not be tolerated)

Re: Where's the Damn Bus?!?
I rather take the monorail and take a relaxing ride to the MK. I am sorry to hear that the SG had no brains. Today at DL my leads came close to kicking out a SG for claiming the register double charged him when his credit card would not read and came up denied. He said he would come after me if he got double charged. Dude, your cred card was denied. We can not be blammed for something wrong with the card. I called the leads when the guy came back and hasseled me. I got another credit card and asked for his id because it was not signed. Management was there. Management did tell him that we don't take that crap from anyone and if you are to return we will be happy to call security and kick you out of the park.
After that, I went to my car in the parking lot and discovered a flat tire. I called AAA for assistance and had to wait another 1/2 an hour to get help. I hope tomorrow brings better improvement.

Arrgghh! I made the mistake of trying to logically think about why they wouldn't want to ride the monorail or walk and ONLY take the bus...

Well, walking is easy to figure out even though they plan to be walking all day, they're lazy. I am not even going to try to think of the reason for not wanting to take the monorail though.JugglingFreak wrote:Arrgghh!
