"Now that the premiere of this new nighttime spectacular is less than two weeks away, we’re answering some of the questions you’ve asked us here on the Disney Parks Blog. How can I see the show? Will there be a Disney FASTPASS service for “World of Color“?"

welllllllllll......
It seems unless you fight Fastpass crowds or cough up 15 bucks each for a picnic meal(will like to hear how people like those), it is very much like Fantasmic where if you show up "late" you might be able to see the show from the periphery
Dinner at Ariel's with viewing sounds nice if they serve the same sort of meal they do at regular hours, will just have to reserve waaaaaaaay in advance.
I know this show will be amazing, but don't like the competitive aspects. I will watch it on YouTube and read on Board X all the secrets to get a seat at the last minute. ;)

I can tell you how, it involves a water bottle with cream of mushroom soup in it and being able to fake regurgitation!DisneyMom wrote:welllllllllll......

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: 'World of Color' Viewing Tips
My pass expires 5 days before the World of Color opening :( . I can't afford another pass until maybe next year. Hopefully my friend will be able to sign me in.
The picnic dinner option sounds good. The price,$14.99, is better than what you'll pay at most counter-service places at DL/DCA.
The thought of a picnic dinner reminds of a summer evening at the Hollywood Bowl. At least I'll be able to do that! (My dad runs the light board there.) :D:

Is your Dad a member of Local 33? I've played LA at both the Ahmanson and the Shubert (may it rest in peace), with a little dance show called Fosse.dazyhill wrote: The thought of a picnic dinner reminds of a summer evening at the Hollywood Bowl. Yes he is a Local 33 member :) He also was a member of Local 728 when he had a steady lighting job on a TV show but that was over 20 years ago. I don't think he's active in that union anymore.delsdad wrote:Is your Dad a member of Local 33? The picnic meals actually look pretty good;DisneyMom wrote:welllllllllll......

The Fastpass idea does seem radical, but they are trying to discourage people from camping out all day like with Fantasmic.
