I wonder if that's the same feeling the World of Disney CMs feel when I hear guests told WoD has EVERYTHING there.

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

I was so disappointed when I heard they were discontinued, dashing my dreams of ever touring WDW with one, or even that they might incorporate them into DL. I suppose they could do something similar as an iPhone/iPod app, but somehow, I think it wouldn't be the same as having your own personal Mickey as a touring buddy...
I, too, thought it was pretty cool when I heard about it. I spent a week at WDW for my birthday a few years ago, and as a birthday present to myself, bought myself a Pal Mickey. It was great fun listening to what he had to say and stuff. I even took pictures of him in different places. Like sitting on Mickey's mailbox, on the fence, etc... I know it's dorky, but it was fun, lol.

As long as the technology is still being used, I will definitely bring him with me next time I go!!

No one told us that the cell phones were no longer stopped. I only sent 2 people that direction. They keep on wanting to unplug our power cords and we say no way. Thanks.

So do I, but until and unless we can entice Iago back, the series looks to remain closed.

Yeah, especially considering that Iago is a she. Makes all those plans just a bit kinky if you ask me, and that's not counting the species difference.

Main Streeter wrote:OMG NO! NO! NO! Are you the CM from FrontierLand who sends guests over to recharge cells? Plsz don't send anyone to Main St. or anyplace else in park & tell them we will recharge cells. This service ended Nov. 09. No one told you? We wont! We can't! We don't recharge any cells @ PP on Main St!
OK, mssage received.

Now, don't we sell those little battery stick things so they can get a charge off it for like 2 hrs? I thought we had the little gizmos in merchandise.

Merch CMs: Do we have something like that?

I figure if they really, really want that charge then we can charge them the $20 or so for that gizmo. :D:

Now, in resorts, I know that many guests that "cannot live without their internet fix" come to guest services/concierge. Most did not bring their laptop/netbook either. When told they have to go to a conference hotel and it is $25 for 15 minutes, they seem to adjust to their predicament quite quickly.

The laptop users also seemed to be taken back by the $19.95 for 24 hrs price when we introduced the service. Most just passed and seemed to find other things to do as well.

These prices are about 4 years old. But you get the idea.

This could be very interesting...at what cost will these smartphone people decide to not use the lil app? Hmmmm.....
