There is something seriously wrong with that. I'd think seriously about finding someone who can determine the root mean cause of them failing or buy another vehicle.

Yes, I agree. Shame on me for buying an early model run ... I guess all the kinks hadn't been worked out yet. I am planning on replacing that vehicle this year, now that we've got the house purchase out of the way. I didn't want to add any debts to my name while trying to get financing.

A friend got his wife the first version of the Mercedes Benz SUV. Turned out the brakes were way too small for the weight of the vehicle which meant an occasional white knuckle stop and being on a first name basis with the brake mechanic at the MB dealership. She was getting brake jobs on an almost annual basis. Luckily MB fessed up and covered everything.

Early adopters are nothing more than guinea pigs. :) That being said, on some things I don't mind helping to work things out. On others, especially when it costs me a decent amount on a yearly basis, it just frustrates me. Not that a few hundred a year is a big deal, but I could do other stuff with that money that I'm spending on upkeep that shouldn't be annually necessary. I wish it was just a brake issue ... at least those are easy to change!

Sounds like something is 'very' wrong. Next time you get them changed,buy the bearings yourself at a reputable dealer,(NAPA or even a bearing house),and see how long they last. Something sounds 'fishy'. :mad:
