I do love animals. I belong to PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) :D:

All kidding aside, I do love animals though. 3 Kids in 4H. My kiddo's had rabbits (25-35), dogs (2) and sheep (6). I also had a beautiful Koi pond. (Darph, put down the fishing pole) All of this on less than an acre.

I even put up with sheep in the kitchen (alive) one day. This is not common knowledge, but sheep CAN climb stairs and open doors.

Now as far as the deer goes. I continue to hope that Flower recovers quickly and lives to be a very old deer.

I put this question out there. What would you have me do when the deer commits suicide by jumping in front of my truck, Leave the carcass there to rot or bring it home and have venison stew and the likes?

No, I did not take offense at the previous posts. I took them in the spirit intended. ;) Keep e'm coming ladies. :D:

How do fish get caught? They open their mouths.

Goes for humans too. Our little deer beater has been opening his by bragging about beating Flower. Someone snitched and he's now under investigation. Hopefully an arrest occurs soon.

Flower continues to do well and is enjoying sharing the pasture with Pepper, the death to trespassers horse.
I've been busy and out of touch so I'm just getting caught up here. My mind was truly boggled when I read this. Bragging about beating up a deer? A harmless deer? Uh, yeah, dude, really impressive. And then I suppose you risk life and limb by stomping on puppies and kittens. I'll bet your momma is really proud of you.

Oh, slime like this don't have mommas. They are the result of asexual reproduction, just like all germs....

In any case, I hope we do see justice done.

We got a tour of the ag classroom and fields yesterday.

Here's Flower coming over to snag some goldfish crackers.

She's standing with my wife and daughter. This'll give you an idea on how big she is.

Here she is with her new best buddy Pepper, the trespasser eating horse.

Go ahead, jump the fence suckah.

There's also a two-week old baby goat.

Stinking paparazzi!!

Apparently Flower has become quite a character. My daughter had her out of pen and Flower decided she wanted to visit the rest of the campus. She'd let my daughter get close and then run ahead. It took about fifteen minutes before she got tired of the game.
