Think I remember from my old LIFE books (grandma bought 'em) that the first prehistoric horses were about that size.
Made a yummy treat for the other prehistoric critters ;)
Don't be upset MS, humans were also tasty for the saber-tooth cats! :eek:

That little colt looks as if most of his weight is in his head and neck.
