Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: Mobile SGTs
Going off the topic for a moment. They just made a divice that disables your cell phone when it comes to texting while driving.
Now if they made a divice that would kill an EVC in it's tracks? It would stop those crazy drivers and they would have to wait for someone to restart their EVC. There would be a restart button like the registers. Poke the restart button and wait 10 minutes. Or get a system that activates when the driver starts to drive the EVC unsafely and the cart dies next to a fence.

Re: Mobile SGTs
How about a fake Armageddon button that starts a countdown until it self-destructs with the SG on it? Well, actually, it would all be a sound effect with smoke, sparks, etc., and wouldn't activate unless and until the SG began to drive it recklessly. Then it would freeze, and a voice chip would activate saying because the SG wasn't following safety rules regarding the use of the ECV, it's time to clean the gene pool. Self-destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....
Should also take care of ECV fakers too--if they jump off the ECV and run, you know they never needed the ECV in the first place.

I do like this idea. :)Zazu wrote:Agreed. Much easier to just take out the key and toss it in the nearest trash can.
And this is a nice added touch....although it involves me, personally, having to hop on a plane to Florida to accomplish. Although if the company were willing to pay for that (if, for example, this was the official procedure in the OG) I'd be up for that. :)Cranbiz wrote: I opt for throwing the key into Bay Lake.

The big advantage is that you know that the SG will be dumpster diving, trying to find his key.lady ulrike wrote:I do like this idea. :)
While you will be walking away with the key in your pocket, having faked the toss.
Hey, trashing Company property -- or that of a scooter rental company -- would be Wrong! Drop the key off at Lost & Found on your way home that night.

That's even better, cause then the lose the use of the scooter and their deposit. Zazu, has anyone ever told you that you're an evil genius? But for the good guys. Which, I guess doesn't really make you evil, but you get my point. :)Zazu wrote:The big advantage is that you know that the SG will be dumpster diving, trying to find his key.

I guess that begs the question of whether evil done for good purposes is good, and good done for evil purposes is bad. Frankly, I'm just interested in justice ... and making sure the SG doesn't run me over again!

Alright so you're a justice genius....although that doesn't quite have the same ring to it.Zazu wrote:Um, I guess... thanks???

No, no it doesn't.lady ulrike wrote:Alright so you're a justice genius....although that doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
Perhaps I should become a CM Superhero, adopt a French motif, and call myself....
... wait for it ...
... Le Bon Mottier!
A number of SGs and a few former SGTers have already called me a "Mottier Forker", or words that sounded something like that.
Or am I just posting too late after too much wine again?

Obviously it's simply too late. Can there ever be such a thing as too much wine? ;)Zazu wrote:No, no it doesn't.
