The annual report has been released. Disney Theme Parks took EIGHT of the Top Ten spots on the "Worldwide" list. They also took the top SEVEN of ten in North America.

No surprise given the promotions Disney Parks ran last year. I laugh at the fact that Sea World and California Adventure beat Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure.

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach were the top of the water parks.
Disney topped every list on there except for the Latin America list (probably only because Disney doesn't have a park there).

Since 2009 was my very first visit to California Adventure, which certainly attracted other people there, I'll accept credit for the 9.5% increase in visitors for that park. You're welcome. ;)

Ok, I'm way too lazy to look it up right now, but Disney has seven parks in North America? I thought there were only 6? Or are they including water parks?IndyandMarion wrote:The annual report has been released. Disney Theme Parks took EIGHT of the Top Ten spots on the "Worldwide" list. Also, Islands of Adventure will likely do quite a bit better soon, with the opening of all the Harry Potter stuff.

Disney made the top 6 of the North American list. I think Indy made a typo or something. The water parks aren't on that list.lady ulrike wrote:Ok, I'm way too lazy to look it up right now, but Disney has seven parks in North America? I thought there were only 6? Or are they including water parks?

You're forgiven.....I honestly thought that maybe it was me, but how silly of me to think that I could possibly be wrong. :)IndyandMarion wrote:Yeah sorry. Meant Six. Im on vacation so my mind is off on some beach somewhere.
