You take a Monorail to the TTC, exit, and walk over to the EPCOT Monorail line. Letting them go wait for a bus to EPCOT is classic Zazu.
That would make sense. I never thought about it, but it would be dumb to have bus service from any of the MK resorts to EPCOT or MK. However on the other side, I could see a need during peek seasons when the lien for monorail is down the ramp.
I still think it's dumb that the TTC doe snot have bus service anymore. I mean it's the
TRANSPORTATION & ticket
CENTER. The bus stations at MY entrance should never have been installed. JMO. or at least still offer buses from the TTC too.

Only the resort buses are right outside the MK. The other parks are serviced from the TTC. The TTC is also where off-property buses, taxis, and guest drop-off are located. They do occasionally run MK buses from the TTC, usually when the monorails or ferries are down for some reason.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

Yes I know, but I remember back before the MK station when all buses were at TTC.
I just remember our last trip we were leaving MK at closing. We had not used the ferry yet that trip so we thought we would take the ferry to the TTC and hop the bus back to our resort. Boy were we wrong LOL. We had to wait to take the ferry back to MK, then walk over to the bus stop and catch the bus back to our resort.

TTC is an accident waiting to happen just with the outside buses, To have the MK buses there too.....(shudders at that thought)....No way.
I cringe every time I need to re-queue by way of the TTC, SG's walking out from between buses, bus drivers that don't know what 5mph means, pulling out without looking, etc.
I can see it now, 18 new MK bus stops there, split between the charter lot and the mouse house. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of signal 4's that would happen on a weekly basis.
No, the MK bus stops are in the correct place.

The MK bus stop used to be at TTC and things worked just fine back then.
One of the magical things about going to MK was that the only way to get there was by Monorail or Ferry. But now it's so magical to hop aboard a bus, something you never get to ride on anywhere else, and ride over.

I wholeheartedly agree...the monorail or the ferry is an intricate part of the magic...even the trams are important to me. I go with a car no matter where I am staying, on or off site.

I would be okay with the whole idea of buses at TTC if we were to put in a new bus area there. I do agree, the Watercraft and Monorails should be the only way to MK. However, TTC would absolutely have to be redone. Otherwise... what Cranbiz said.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Let me change my statement to add "the way things are currently".
Yes, it was Walts idea the keep MK almost as an island, to isolate it from reality. In the early years, the idea of a separate transportation hub was great and yes, I too, prefer a nice monorail or boat ride to get there.
The way the TTC is set up, for today's volume of guests, it won't work. Like BW said, it would need a major redesign and you won't see that as it would not be cost effective.
Once again, the bean counters win.

We could start a rumor that WDW is going to put in a new property-wide automated People Mover system which will include the TTC, all the non-monorail Parks and Resorts, and also link to both Sun Rail as well as the Intercity Express Train routes. And you have a touch-screen to select your destination.
Of course, all of this will be free. But to make it even better, and so it will not be a blot on the landscape, it will all be underground!
I wonder how long it would take for this rumor to gain credibility on several other boards? :vampire:
