I wonder if there's any way to Photoshop or airbrush the little intruder out of your pictures? I remember reading about some people who do family albums, and they had this picture of a family; the husband had just divorced the wife, and they wanted his picture out of the group photo. He was airbrushed out and replaced by a bush. Maybe the kid can be turned into a hidden Mickey or something. :p:

Adobe read your mind. There's a new feature in the just announced CS 5 that does just that. It looks at the surrounding background and replaces the selected object with the background pattern.felinefan wrote:I wonder if there's any way to Photoshop or airbrush the little intruder out of your pictures? Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I had a guest that allowed his three year old to come in the middle of someone's picture. When I asked him to get the little girl he told me that she was three and didn't know any better. I got so mad that I replied with a "No sir she does not. However you do and that family wants to take a picture of their family not yours. Besides if someone does the same thing to you, I bet you would be mad. Please pick her up" The man was so mad at me he left the line. It irks me to no end that people are that inconsiderate and rude. Then they wonder where the kids get it.dismomof5 wrote:I would get slightly creeped out if someone took pictures of my kids with the characters. I refuse to take pictures of the characters when there are other kids already there....it just seems disrespectful some how. Maybe that's just me....
Reminds me of an SG mom in the Epcot Character Spot a couple years back. I had three of my kids in line...waiting as patiently as they could (it was June and it was a long line). We got up there and started to see the characters..and once we got to Minnie, this little girl came from nowhere and jumped into the pictures with my kids. I couldn't fault the photopass CM as he had no idea she wasn't one of ours...since the mom was NO WHERE to be found for a good 2-3 minutes. So...some of my photopass pictures have some other kid in them. Finally, mom comes running to get her. Where was she? Seriously..they were pretty darn organized...not sure where they even were and how she didn't know her 3 year old was missing.

I guess I am guilty of the other kids picture thing. I was waiting for my grandkids turn at a character meet of some of the bears from Country Bear Jamboree when this family came up to their turn. They had a tiny little girl with them and one of the bears, don't remember which one, just cradled her in his arms.
It was probably the cutest thing I had ever seen and couldn't resist the temptation to take a picture of it. I still think it's cute.
I am a little offended that someone would think that I had any other, less than honorable, reason for taking the picture. I don't know who these people were, I never saw them again and had no other intention other than just feeling the magic for a moment. It was adorable.
Not everyone is a pervert.

Hehe.....yeah, this is true. Funny aside...at my uncle's wedding, we had a picture taken that was JUST supposed to be immediate family and wives/husband/kids. My other uncle (the twin of the one who got married) has a girlfriend who has not made life easy for any of us, and after the picture was done and on a cd, the wife REMOVED my uncle's girlfriend and moved another one of my aunts into her space. It looks completely natural and if you didn't know.....you'd have no clue. It can be done...but by someone with more photoshop talent than I. :p:

That was the thing...it was if the mom just didn't care that her child wandered into my kid's meeting with some of their favorite characters. My kids didn't speak up, and were enjoying the moment...but the photopass CM looked confused, lol. The photopass CMs and handlers were absolutely wonderful...very patient and made sure to take LOTS of extra pictures after that. I never complained, I wasn't angry, I was just sort of confused as to how this child was wandering away when everything was so organized.Tinker Bell wrote:I had a guest that allowed his three year old to come in the middle of someone's picture. I agree with that last line....unfortunately, parents are programmed to feel that way in some situations. Maybe at Disney I'm slightly less paranoid, but I'd be lying if that didn't pop into my head occasionally. My dd just mentioned someone taking a picture of her and her friends over the weekend out by our house...and I freaked out until she explained more clearly that the person with the camera was her friend's mother.Goofyernmost wrote:I guess I am guilty of the other kids picture thing. This goes for my first 2 now 16 and 13 but I worry about my #3 who will be 2 during this trip. This will be her third trip but she is not a fan of waiting. For anything. She is a real challenge. So please forgive me in advance if she bum rushes anyone, LOL. You be sure I will wrangle her every time though!delsdad wrote:My daughter has learned sooo much patience from waiting in line at the parks. She knows she has to wait to meet characters.

and I can imagine that was an adorable moment, but like the CM said, it wasnt your moment...
and since we can assume you havent posted that picture on any board when a subject of cute magical moments, then the picture of the child is safe in your digital forum...
