Its a jungle out there!

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I like that! Very cool!

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Very nice landscaping. However, the title of this thread started an earworm--the theme from "Monk". Mom used to watch it from time to time. And there is the line "It's a jungle out there" in it.

Sorry. :o:

Just just listen to the "Its a Small World" song and the theme from "Monk" will go away. ;)

Nah, it's a small world music doesn't even stick in my head. Then again, I work that attraction daily and ride it at least once on most work days, and even sometimes on my off days. I'm sick, I know.

Actually, the Small World song doesn't get stuck in my head either. I do like the ride.

But I figured that the song suggestion was worth a try. ;)

It's no big deal. I usually find something else to think about, so it goes away anyhow. It would be nice if my CD player worked--might need a new one. It spins for a brief while, then stops without playing the CD. Must've gotten messed up in the move from Tustin to Santa Ana. Have to get a new one, I guess.

Easy fix. Take the cover off and clean the player lens with some alcohol on a Q-Tip. The lens it the little piece of glass that's aimed at the bottom of the CD disk. It wiggles around a little.

The lens has a laser in it that is NOT eye safe. You can test play a CD with the cover off but DO NOT look into the lens with the power on.

Hobie, this won't work. They have the Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland that says "Do NOT look into the eyes of Mara!" and everybody still does it
