hope this is the place for an intro!

Post by shinysparklybubbles » Thu Mar 25, 2010 6:44 pm

Hi! I've posted a few times, but feel awkward that I didn't put an intro somewhere, hope this is the right spot! I saw a link for you guys on dis boards and wanted to check you out. I worked at Six Flags Great Adventure for 6 seasons in admissions (4 seasons as a sup) but sadly had to hang up my name tag in favor of a full time job with benefits, fast forward a bunch of years and now I'm a SAHM. I've got some SG stories to share, hope you all find them amusing!

Best one I can think of, is there used to be a ride at GA called the Space Shuttle, awful ride, harness hurt like hell when it suspended you upside down. Anyway, ride has the normal warnings (which no one reads) of who shouldn't ride. So my friend who is working in guest relations calls me and says I have to come to GR asap. So I head over there and there stands a lady who crying and screaming about needing a ride to the hospital. I noticed her boob looked odd, it was very lopsided and rather high. So we bring her around back of GR to figure out WTF is going on. SG lifts up her shirt and shows us her boobs  Turns out SG recently (like 10 days ago) got a boob job and thought it'd be okay to go on a ride that suspended you upside down. Some how the pressure of the harness moved her implant!

Do you still have teeth marks in your tongue from trying not to laugh?

Nah, not all that great lol. I mean how good could they be if they dr screwed up enough that there was room for the implant to move? We followed up with SG (more out of curiosity than anything) and she had to go see a different dr. People just don't learn, discounts and plastic surgery are not a good thing!

Welcome shiny! love the name! I could call you shiny, I could call you sparkly, I could call you Bubbles though that would be confusing with our Bubble ladies and the fact that my own Powerpuff girlness is oft referred to in my household (and I am easily confused)

Glad to have you with us, that's a great story (though not great obviously for the genius whose IQ was lower than her newly acquired bra size.

See, this is why I just can't do thrill rides, because even though everything on me is factory installed and not aftermarket add on, parts of me would still be falling off as the ride moved along. Not a good thing.

Again, welcome! I think you're gonna fit in just fine around here.

Definitely a good story to start with.

Well, it looks like I missed you in your first posts, shame on me. Anyway, allow me to offer you a very warm* welcome to the slice of the internet known as SGT. It looks like you have already been visited by the Marsupial Welcoming Committee elsewhere so I won't tell you that they will be along to give you your proper welcome.

*by warm I really mean very hot**

**by hot I really mean that you are now literally on fire, and that I would like to apologize for any inconvenience

Maybe it was the same doc that was injecting silicon caulk into women's butts.
