One of my biggest pet peeves when I'm loading at GMR is asking guests "How many?" and they'll tell me "4 1/2", the half being a young child or baby. Um, so your kid isn't really human or something? Please tell me the TOTAL number in your party. Makes it a lot easier for me to tell the person in preshow how many more people I need to load the vehicle.

Or another story: The doors on the GMR vehicles don't always like to open by themselves. So there are small kick plates that we just kick with our toes that will open the stuck doors. Instead of waiting for me to use the kick plate to open their door, this group decided it would be more convenient to climb over the seats into the row behind them to get out. *facepalm*
It might just be me, but I don't think that question is that bad. 99% of the time, when they throw in a 1/2, the child will be sitting on a lap (so they are only taking up 4 spots, or whatever the first number is).

I do think it's annoying when people start climbing over the rows, though. I can just see someone falling and breaking an arm (or leg...or both).

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

yep, used to happen fairly regularly. Probably still does. I had one lady whip a baggie out of her purse, let her boy pee in it while standing on the moving truck, zip evrything closed and carry it back to unload where she dropped the bag in a trashcan. blecchh. Came close to having a punch thrown between guests over a dirty diaper being changed on the truck.

Nursing doesn't bother me, frankly. It's not as if she's going to spill all over the vehicle or dump the backwash over the side into an animal area.

Last time I was on it I was told that it's a fire hazard. The skipper said that if we tried to cross the crates and fell on our faces, then he would laugh at us and he would get fired :p:

See, this is where there should be a "CM rule" that since you noticed that guests did not have a good ride experience, they should be allowed to get back into the FP lane, or better yet, get back into the next boat.

If they were first time guests to WDW or DL, what kind of impression would that give them? "This place is just like Six Flags (or Knotts...etc)."

What a wonderful idea! And thanks to all the skippers! You make the JC a gem!

This can totally be done, up to each individual CM and I've done it before at Storybook Land. Although our boats are much smaller and it's usually one large obnoxious group and one small family who gets the re-ride.
