Re: Facebook
'Nuther invite.
I have to say, the one thing I love about Facebook is the way I connect with people I've been friends with in the past. In fact, I found out the day it happened that a friend from high school with whom I had lost contact had had an aneurysm and died. The nearest friend from high school to me is about a thousand miles away, so it would have taken me months to find out. Instead, I know about the scholarship that has already been set up in her name by my high school.
The part I don't like: Farmville. Way too many people post about Farrmville.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: Facebook
Through Facebook I reconnected with dozens of old friends from my days at DLR. We have had a couple of reunions, all set up through FB. I think it's great.

Sometimes you can have a lot of fun with the notifications though. I just got one that someone was hosting a barn raising. :twisted:Main Streeter wrote:Farmville. Drives me nuts! Love "Hide" on FB.

Re: Facebook
You can hide farmville easily. Just hover your cursor over the farmville update post, and click the HIDE button. It pops up a box to let you choose to Hide the poster, or Hide Farmville. This also works for Mafia Wars, Sea Garden, and many other annoying apps.Big Wallaby wrote:'Nuther invite.
