More whale watching:
Hello boat!!
Baby exercising his peduncle.
Baby showing off for mom.
Competition pod lookin' for babes.
We had a four time Grammy winner on board.
Mom and baby.
One boat didn't make it back.

We were invited to a friend's place for pupus and the sunset. A mom and baby whale were playing off the beach.
Pretty cool mom!
Where'd you go mom?
As the sun pulls away from the shore,
and our boat sinks slowly in the west...

Good thing you're in Hawaii. I'm pretty sure "exercising your peduncle" is illegal in Texas.
AWESOME pics, Hobie!!

Oh man, I sure miss those beautiful Hawaiian sunsets.
Pardon my ignoramusness, Hobie, but I didn't recognize that recording artist. Who is he?

He is George Kahumoku. He's won for slack key guitar. Really nice guy who teaches ceramics at the local high school.
