All-time record snowfall in the Dallas area -- 12.5 inches at D/FW airport. This Colorado-raised boy is feeling right at home today!

A couple of our city's finest took up position on a deck overlooking the Police Station employee parking lot, pelting anyone who approached with snowballs. Kids come in all sizes... :D:

Most of the pictures were black for me at the time of posting time.

I am a firm believer that you cannot be grown up unless you know how to act like a kid in appropriate situations. Anyone who cannot do this and tries to be grown up simply by being responsible isn't grown up, they are just pretending. :p:

I heard there is snow on the ground in all 50 states tonight.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Yep, they mentioned that in the news brief I heard. The snow is on top of the mountains.

We got about 2.5 inches of snow just northwest of Atlanta.

The roads just stayed wet. So I'm expecting them to be froze over by morning. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Toronto has only had about 2" of snow this year. You see we canceled our snow order and had it sent to British Columbia for the Olympics. Unfortunately, a clerical error sent the snow to DC, not BC ! :D: You have seen the results.

No snow on the ground here in CA, unless you're in the mountains....

UPDATE

Hawaii's 13,800-foot Mauna Kea volcano, which often gets snow much of the year at its higher elevations, is the most likely place in the 50th state to have snow, but there "is nothing right now," said research meteorologist Tiziana Cherubini at the Mauna Kea Weather Center. It has been a few weeks since there has been snow in the mountains, and none is in the forecast, ruining a perfect 50-for-50, she said.
