I was so happy to hear this...I always loved MSEP, which is why I wasn't crazy over Spectro...

What should really be done is return our MSEP from Paris and send Spectrodisaster to the French; they deserve it.

I really don't understand what the difference between the two, plus I don't think Spectro is that bad. But I was too young to remember the one time I saw MSEP.

MSEP has a special place in my Disney memories. On my first visit to a Disney park, DL in '82 as a teen, it took me about half a day to really "get" the Disney magic, but once I did, I had a blast (and haven't lost it since!).

Then that night I saw Main Street Electrical Parade and not only completely loved it, but it was when the geek in me first realized the amazing technology Disney creates and uses, just to entertain us. I laughed at the snails spinning and charging at people in the crowd, and I still marvel at how each float plays its own musical theme while speakers up and down the street play the general parade theme, and it all matches and blends in perfect synchronization.

I haven't seen MSEP in the 28 years since (except at a distance from my hotel balcony in Anaheim this past July), and it's still a fresh, clear memory. Loved it.

I'm so happy to hear this I'm almost ready to transfer back to Main Street so I can get paid to watch it again!

Almost. Department's still suffering from MDD -- Magic Deficiency Disorder.

16% of the people polled must not have seen Disneyland's Fantasmic, cause anyone who's seen our Fantasmic could not possibly vote DHS's Fantasmic as best nighttime entertainment.

I don't know, I might put DHS's over DL's simply because of seating arrangement. Just look at the seating arrangement in DL, it's terrible, even if you are sitting at the very back in DHS you have a nice view of the show. Maybe it's time to rework that section of the walkway; I've always felt it was somewhat awkward anyway. I am waiting to take a look at the completed plaza for World of Color so I can see how well it will work as seating, I know it was designed with this in mind, but I can't know if it will work without seeing it happen.
