You can't have it both ways...

Move on o' mother of the ignored child. You attempted to insult a cast member and failed (miserably I might add). You have been outted as and SG. No amount of backtracking can take back you calling them a moron.

Really, just move on before you hurt yourself or your children. It's better to have lost your stupidity than to never have been stupid at all. We love you. We do. Move on. Nothing to see here.

And no amount of quasi-intelligent patter will make you look any different than you are.

According to your profile, you are 36 years old. Can't tell it by the childish insults you fling.

Your rudeness prevails. I hope you and your superiority complex have a wonderful life.

Thank you for your observation of my age and habits. I'm a "troll" on your little board right? LMAO

Lucy, you are only making yourself look silly at this point. Really.

Is there a lifeguard at the gene pool that can monitor this person??????

OK People, Enough is enough!

Let me remind everyone of the rules. Specifically 2,3 and 5.
CujoSR wrote: There are many forums that have rules. This forum is one of them. This doesn't make us fascists, or jerk offs and we're not out to get you unless of course you piss us off. This is to protect users and the integrity of our site and ensure that everyone can come here and have a good time without getting frustrated, leaving, or attacked etc. Think of it as Commandments for StupidGuestTricks:

1.) No spamming. We consider spam to be repetitive posts, posting links in the forum that’s not allowed (Porn, Unrelated Advertising, etc.), and maliciously filling up the forum with derogatory comments and ridiculously stupid posts that don't relate to the site.

2.) Unlike other forums out there, flame wars or fighting among users will not be tolerated. Conduct yourself in a civil manner. If you cannot do that then you are not welcome here. If threads degrade into flame wars, they will be locked, and the instigator may be banned.

3.) Attack the message, not the messenger. If you have a problem with a particular post, don’t make personal attacks against the poster. Instead, state in a civil manor what your disagreement with the post is. Personal attacks of any kind are not allowed.

4.) Although we don't mind if profanity is used, we ask that it be not used excessively. Profanity used as an attack on another person is not allowed.

5.) Remember that although this forum is here to post humorous stories of guests and cast members leaving their common sense at home, this forum is not meant for the bashing of any group of individuals, including guests. Posting individual accounts of stupid guest interactions is different than stating that “All APs are idiots”. Please do not categorize any groups of people in this manner.

6.) Do not use this site as a means to break any company policies for the theme park you work for. This includes the selling or trading of sign-ins, comp passes, free meals, etc. Doing so will not only put your career in jeopardy, but this site as well.

7.) Identity is very important here. In the interest of protecting the privacy of other Cast Members (current or former) we ask that when referring to them in a post you use only their first name (real, or whatever is on their nametag). The exception to this is when referring to Cast Members whose names are already widely known or in mainstream media (for example, Matt Ouimet, Michael Eisner, Wally Boag, Rod Miller, etc.) it is all right to use the full name. Do not assume that since you know someone personally, that they will not mind their name being placed in an open forum such as this.

8.) Do not conduct personal conversations with other members via the public forums. Either contact a person via personal email, or through the PM feature of this website and conduct the conversation using one of those methods.

9.) When linking to StupidGuestTricks.com in general, please link to the main page. If you would like to link to a specific thread, that is fine but be aware that a lot of threads cannot be viewed by unregistered users. Please do not link directly to any single file on the website (including, but not limited to, photos and videos). Linking directly to files uses up bandwidth that should instead be used by our members.

10.) Consider all moderator's decisions as final. If any posts are locked, deleted or edited for any reason do not post simply to discuss the issue. For example if a flame war breaks out in your topic because a debate is a touchy subject and the topic is locked, its locked for a reason. Please don't rehash it. Additionally, don't make a post disrespecting the moderator that locks, or edits your post or thread. If you would like, take it up with the moderator via PM, but keep your conversation civil.

Failure to follow any of these rules can cause your posts, to be edited, locked, or deleted at the discretion of the moderators. Constant failure to follow the site rules could also cause you to become banned from StupidGuestTricks.com.

Follow these rules and you'll be just fine. Don't feel like we are going to be family friendly and not allow you to be yourselves. Just try to be a little reasonable and use common sense. Aside from these rules we just want everyone to have a good time and enjoy these forums. Well that's about it. Welcome to StupidGuestTricks! Enjoy your stay here.

This topic will be edited, modified or amended as needed by myself or the other admins. All changes to these rules will be announced in the Cast Communications section.
Now If you want to conduct yourselves as adults, lets continue this thread.

LucyStorm,

I read your comments and really want more details about your incident reguarding the full bus. If you read my comments about it I have used that statement before and don't believe that I have been considered rude or unmagical (although there may be some guest out there that feels otherwise). In fact I used it tonight at Studios. Why, because we did not have enough buses for closing as MK and EPCOT were closing at the same time and Downtown is still in full swing. Was I rude? Not in my opinion. Did I raise my voice? Yes. There were many guests talking in the queue and it was the only way that the guests could hear what I had to say. Did I have anyone refuse? Yes. Did they inconvenience any other guests? Maybe. Why could this inconvenience other guests? Because it takes a bus away from another queue that has guests waiting to go back to their resorts.

What we try to do is move as many guests as possible with the limited supply of buses available. Period. All you stated was the fact that a female driver (so I know it wasn't me) "yelled at you stating the bus won't move until full".

You did not say anything about what day of the week, what time of day was it or even what loadzone it was. What you perceived as being yelled at may or may not have been. Not being there with you, All I can do is speculate about what might have caused a situation and offer some insight as to what may have happened.

I have tried to explain things in an intelligent way and will be very happy to discuss the situation in an adult fashion.

As to your cell phone incident, if you read my comments, I agreed with you and felt that you should have spoken up to management. A driver who endangers their guests should be retrained or recast. Period. You will not find Big Wallaby or myself doing things like that. We value our guests way too much to knowingly endander them.

Yes, we vent about SG's. But for every SG I write about, there are 100's of them that I enjoy and have fun with. Thats why I work for Disney. It's certinally not for the pay.

Even you must admit, the thread on the Dis got out of hand and unfortunanely so have many others there. Those are the reasons that I have cut back my participation over there. I have over 1500 posts there and would like to think that I have helped many guests with their vacation planning but the knowitalls and negative attacks there in the last 6 months have soured me.

One poster does not speak for all of us.

Okay, I think that's enough. If you want to take this fight somewhere else, then continue it there. But please, not on the site I consider to be my front porch. While we do say over-the-top things here, the intent of nastiness that I have seen in the previous posts are not what I am here for. I don't enjoy watching these personal attacks.

I, for one, am not going to call LucyStorm a SG, as she hasn't earned that title from me. If you look at her first post at Dis, or any post after that, she is never uncivil. While some of the responses she received make me laugh, nothing she said was outlandish. The first time she was downright nasty was here.

I've been on my way to clock in, and I have actually seen drivers going down the road with a cellular phone to their ear. And no, I don't mean the Nextel. I've also met drivers past whom I would not put yelling at someone.
LucyStorm at DIS wrote:And then before Wishes I was trying to get to the popcorn stand and a cast member yelled at me "Lady, you will never get out of this park going in that direction". No I won't, you moron, because I wasn't trying to get out of the park.
That is part of LucyStorm's first post. I have one thing to point out from a Cast member perspective (and if all the other CM's could either back me up or fillet me on this, I would appreciate it), and another to point out as the grammar freak that I am.

If this Cast member has just dealt with 50 guests going toward Fantasyland to leave, if they then assume that Lucy was doing the same thing, then I can see where they would want to tell her to turn around, and they might have shouted as that is what they have been doing for an hour to be heard]moron[/i] at someone who was trying to give me information I didn't need, especially when I was tired. Now, had she said it to the cast member, my first reaction would have been to reach through the computer and slap her silly, but she didn't. Thinking something is quite different than saying it. One of my favorite quotes, and I can't remember the author: I can't keep the birds from flying around my head, but I can keep them from building a nest there!"

This post is not to defend LucyStorm. I don't like the fact of her coming over here to call out ICStupidPeople, just as I don't really agree with people here going over there to comment based on what was said here. The only thing I say in her defense about that is that she is not the first offender.

As I said to LucyStorm in a PM (at Dis), we handle things here with a sense of humor, and those who deal with anger instead don't last long here. I think that's what disturbs me about parts of this thread... that if there is humor at some points, it is very difficult to read into the text of what is said.

If this is the result, I would rather people not bring any info at all from other message boards. I enjoy the banter we have here. But the ugliness I've seen, be it in taking someone's words out of context or all-out fighting, just turns me off.

Again, if you want to have a fight, then that is your right. That's the beauty of the society in which we live. But take it off our porch, and then come back when it's all over.

In my mind, all sides are in the wrong. If we had kept our conversation to ourselves, this mess would not be what it is now. Heck, someone at the other site might have still picked it up and broadcast it, but it would be on them, not us. Just as most of what we say here never gets put out on Dis or the other boards, this shouldn't have been, either.

So please, when we comment on things we see elsewhere, could we keep it to ourselves in the future? We understand each other and the group sense of humor, but to bring others in who do not find this place on their own, alone, just brings unnecessary strife and headache.

Thank you for listening. Good night.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
