Spider Mouse and his lawyers....

Post by Doctor McKey » Tue Feb 02, 2010 12:25 pm

I walked into one of the local filling stations today and saw an artical in the Orlando Sent. about Disney/Marval and their push to kill Universal ( LINK ). Alot of people are screaming at the top of their lungs ( inside a sound proof room ) about anti trust issues.

Look we are a business.. we will do what it takes to be competitive and not screw our share holders ( which in full disclosure i am one )... with that being said.. In order to make us as a company we will have to do things that others may not be happy about ( LINK ). I used to work for Paramount Parks and i can tell you first hand.. they will screw up anything or try to whore out anything they can just to turn a dime.

I think Disney needs to take what is rightfully theirs from those who are going to not try to screw Disney, but the public and fan bases of the Marval Universe out of quality products.

I can see Stan Lee throwing himself at the feet of the Disney lawyers now.

Disney needs to stay with its OWN stuff, and stop trying to buy the world.

Which "stuff", though? Disney didn't create Pooh, they acquired him. Disney didn't create Peter Pan, Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, et al, they interpreted them... so what is "Disney's OWN stuff"?

Well, Enchanted, I think is completely Disney's, as is, Meet the Robinson's, Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, I'm sure there's a couple others.

Have to hand it to the bear actors thou, that was hot and hard work,
wearing the fur suits and wearing AA puppet heads. thank god the voice actors were off camera and just the puppeteers suffered.
