i'm sure elyse would be very touched by all the wonderfully warm wishes sent to her by you all here...she's doing pretty well...it was a mild heart attack (thank goodness)...and due to her walking she started new blood vessels so plenty of blood flow to her heart...no bypass needed...now she just needs to do as her doctor tells her to do...no disneyland for 4-6 weeks...but that's a drop in the bucket to what it could have been...she'll be back there before ya know it

Not sure news was on any boards Bru. I had an Em from Elyse then read on FB. The cardio specialist wants her to walk now, but.....no DL for a month. I'm guessing he didn't get bubbles. ;)

What? All I do is WALK at the Parks!
But I guess she has to slowly work up to it,right? ;)
I hope we'll see her there soon, blowing bubbles!

Marketing Idea: Mickey Pedometers! :p:

Problem is...Elyse does nothing slowly. It's all or nothing. ;)
CMs were given pedometers 4 or 5 yrs. ago. Mine is long gone. :(

Here's hoping Elyse is all right. Hopefully, she'll be back on her feet and in the parks when I come this March :D: .

I do wish this lovely lady a speedy recovery. I remember the great honor I got to meet her and her sister 2 years ago. I hope she is back on her feet ASAP.

For Narnia! And for Aslan!

Very glad to hear it was a warning attack and not a more drastic event. Nothing like a wake up call to remind us we need to take care of ourselves. Speedy recovery, Elyse.

Hi Everyone...
Thanks so much for the well wishes & prayers. Pray that my doc doesn't make me wait six weeks to go to DL! I told him he was "killing me" by not letting me go. (we'd planned to come out February 5th)

In the meanwhile, I'm walking around my neighborhood, so I can stay in shape for you-know-where...Trying to get past the lack of appetite (otherwise known as anorexia) & doin' pretty well. And my doc told me I can start taking my suppliments again...everything except for E (& I don't mean Ecstasy)

Y'all don't worry too much...
Cuz ya know what they say...

Love, hugs 'n kisses
Elyse
