That is a word that none of our offices use. Our main goal in my area is to keep the area running. If we start to run out of food we call back. The only things we hear about are problems with registers and lack of crew showing up. Once in a blue moon do we hear about DCA. They are on a different channel.

She isn't talking about on the radio, I sorta doubt they use that acronym on the radio. She's talking about how CMs refer to the attraction when talking about it. It's Disneyese, like CM for Cast Member, ODV for Outdoor Vending, etc.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Close, ODV could be Ourdoor Vending and ODV on DCA is Outdoor Ventures.
We have 2 different radio systems. On our radios out here at Dineyland we have several connections. When you join, you push a button and you are connected into the Disneyland side. When we hear about certain areas which are having down time (101) or (904 alarms) there will be a long tone and they say "attention all areas"... That's when we do hear about info from both parks. Usually control says this.

They're not talking about radio calls or calls on the radio. None of this has to do with a radio, we're just talking about general CMs talking in the breakroom or wherever about things. For example, I never say Disney's California Adventure, I say DCA, it's a small world is just world, and so on. That's what is being talked about here, it has nothing to do with what's said on the radio.

If you do make it over to DCA, have fun, but be prepared to see a lot of construction walls.
