BRWombat, was this you? LOL. Board D's SG's

Apparently some of you have been VERY rude to some SG's as of late and by golly, they aren't going to stand for it anymore! They are going to go home, eat bon bons, and gain 800 more pounds and vent to other SG's on their computer!

There is even one classic SG (christmaself) who is insinuating they are a supervisor or a higher up at Disney by asking for a description of the cast members in question!! LOLOL

Convo to Disney CM at customer service: "um, I'd like to report the blond haired girl in the Disney Uniform that was working by the loading area 7 or 9 on either Wednesday or Thursday of one of the weeks in june. What do you mean you can't fire her without more accurate information? Are you calling me stupid? Let me talk to your supervisor, HE'LL make sure she is fired"

Convo on Disboards..err..board x : "I can't believe disney isn't doing anything about a complaint I had. I gave them the exact date, time and person's name of the incident where they were rude to me and they told me there was nothing they could do without more accurate information. What more do they want me to do, get her social security number?"

SG #2 responding to post on Dboard: <<hugs>> I am so sorry you were treated like that. I would call and ask for a supervisor and demand a free annual pass for life. I had a rude CM that wouldn't allow my fat ass to use all my child's meal credits for table service for me my last trip. I had them fired.

Did you catch the one about all the rude CMs at MK this week? Including a bus driver who took a personal cell phone call in the middle of a route and handed the phone to his mother, who happened to be riding with him? I *know* that was Wombat..

Ok, I'm not really a CM, just a CM's wife...

I almost responded, then I didn't.

I'll tell you this much, how DARE CM's have any sort of emotion other than utter and complete joy at their job! If I encounter that while I'm there (in September, /end_shameless_plug) I'll let the CM know that I'm glad to see they are human and they have not been replaced by robots as reported on Board X.

I HAD to respond! It gets me so pissed when I read these idiotic complaints about nothing! :stick: Gollee, get over yourself, already! And it REALLY, REALLY upset her, I would hate to see how she reacts to a truly bad thing, maybe SHE was having the bad day and took things out of context, yes? But, oh no, those SGs are NEVER wrong, it is ALWAYS the CM's fault, right? Makes me want to go wash my eyes out with harsh soap after seeing her words about our hard working CMs. :barf:
Love you CMs! You are Walt's gift to Theme Parks!

I know all us marsupials look alike, but I think you're thinking of Big Wallaby. He's the driver; I'm a lawyer in Texas.

And I don't work for Disney precisely because I would treat SG's as they deserve!!! :D:

It's really getting out of hand over on that board. I joined that one several years ago for the good posters that had a lot of quality info and have tried to help them in return many times. The flames and downright nastiness that has surfaced over there is just uncalled for. Now I have just about given up. I'm only going to help in situations where there is direct answer to a question. No more am I going to attempt to explain things over there. Their loss.

You can't tell most of them anything anymore. There is always someone who thinks that they know better.

I got flamed over there because I gave an honest evaluation of a particular restaurant that I went to as a GUEST. It was a contrary opinion to several others and they were very vocal about how wrong I was.

Now, we are unhappy, misinformed and should be reported to management because we vent here. These people need to get a life.

To you Dis'ers reading this:

I come here to vent so you don't get the less than magical experience when riding my bus. No one is forcing you to come to this board and certainly, no one is forcing you to read this. For your info, I do like my job at Disney and do my very best to make magic happen for my guests. There are times that it's just not good enough for you. For that, I'm sorry.

Have a Magical Day!

Cranbiz, in my experience over there there aren't to many flames and nastiness and when there is the mods take care of the situation. This is at least true for the boards I frequent over there, I don't know about your experience on the Restaurant board as I don't usually visit it.

I have learned a lot about WDW that I didn't know before and have gotten good idea for my upcoming trip. Also some of what I've read there reaffirms why I dream of working at WDW.

Only a very few have said anything resembling reporting this board and the posters here to management. Most seem to understand the need to vent.

There have been posts both there and here on this topic that were uncalled for and rude.

Just as the CMs here have the right to vent about SGs they have a right to vent about bad CMs. There are also a number of threads praising good and great CMs.

Some posters over there, not just me, have defended this board and explained its purpose better than the first impression people were getting about it from this thread.

The photography board is about the only place on board x I'm comfortable posting on. I see tags like "WDW Expert" and just have to laugh.

I frequent the Theme Parks, Camping, and disABILITIES boards and browse but the topics but not usually read the Resorts board.

The Camping and disABILITIES boards are made up of wonderful people and the last time a poster got out of hand majorly (the other day) on the Theme Parks board his threads were deleted and I believe he was banned.

I've looked through the Photography board a few times and did like it. I need to go browse through there some more.

Overall the posters there are good people who love WDW and want to help out others who don't know that much about it.
