"Afraid" of kids

So, I am the first to preach that Disney has tons to offer childless adult couples visiting. Even single adults. But, if you are going to say you're "afraid" of children (basically the guest's words) ... why in the name of all things would you book a vacation during Christmas - New Year's week, and stay at a Disney resort? I had to room change just such a couple today to get them away from a large group that had lots of young adults staying at my resort. I just don't get it. I mean if you don't have kids, and don't like to be around them, there are *way* better times to book to come visit the parks. Even early in December before most kids get out of school, if you're so wanting to see the holiday decorations.

If one doesn't like kids going to WDW is a very BAD idea. There are always kids everywhere, that's the nature of the place.

Really, I'm more afraid of the parents then the kids. I can usually scare the little ones into submission. :)

Of course, the "parents" in the scenario are often absent, anyway.

maybe they saw the movie "Barbarella" and think all kids are like the ones in that movie.

Magic Mountain would be bad also. Don't let them on the ride "Spin-out!" A round room with allot of kids. Get that one cranking fast and they lower out the bottom. The kids are stuck next to you and they are there until the ride stops.

I suggest Club Med and make sure that they get a place with no kids near by. How did they survive school? Maybe they were home schooled?

It is better with little kids around. They give you the best answers when you go to theme parks. :)

Have one day each week (or maybe just one day a month) when each park is "Adults Only". Set the age at either 18, 20 or 21.

No infants.
No kids in strollers.
No teenagers (unless age is set at 18) with the possible exception of CMs on duty.

Certain attractions can be shut down, such as the child play areas. Stroller Rental does not need to be staffed. And no height checks necessary for rides. No character meals, etc.

The entire place is geared towards kids, with enough to keep adults happy, but I don't think enough adults would make it profitable to do that, perhaps once a year. People who don't like kids shouldn't go to Disney!
