OT: The oh-so-evil DDR...

Post by Freak » Sat Dec 13, 2003 12:01 am

Crap I'm addicted to it. Any of you guys play it? And just for the people that have no clue of what I'm talking about. DDR=Dance Dance Revolution (aka that game where you look really stupid stepping on buttons to the rhythm of music).

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

I've seen people play it at Fry's. I got myself an X-box and was spending a lot of time with that new Simpsons game 'till the other night when I cut my thumb really bad on a cheese grater. Can't really play again for a few days or so...

I was once addicted to DDR back when I was in high school. I'm still fairly good, but not nearly as good as I used to be. Plus I don't like the newer versions with the "freeze" arrows.

Still haven't forgotten that night when I saw two CMs playing DDR in the Starcade after hours.

I love that game! One of my friends built a DDR stage in her backyard... kinda sad really, but oh so fun!

God must love stupid people. He made so many of them.

I dunno, the game isn't really about dancing. Its more of a workout machine more than anything now. With some of the new songs I've seen. 300 beats per minute is just a tad too fast for me...
