Not like my guests or I wanted to go anywhere anyway.

This is the place to tell us about the stupid things fellow employees can do.

The system is capable now, but as I understand it, no one is trained to use it. It's a crying shame, because if they WOULD use it, my seniority would go way up, because they'd find all the people who are going out on their buses and sleeping instead of doing runs. It really makes me angry to think about them, because they make my life so much harder, when they call for a dispatch on schedule, dispatch thinks they're coming around and so guests wind up waiting for a bus that is never coming. The guests then yell at me because they have been waiting 40-60 minutes for a bus, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Makes me very angry. :badmood:

The company calls them scammers. They are another reason this system is being put in place. When the company gives them the axe, I'd really like it to be a physical axe.
Naw, make that a :chainsaw: . Or maybe a good, swift

:kicknut: , or  , or :voodoo: , :whip: , :wizard: or :kaboom: . There aren't enough emoticons here or in the world to express what I want to see done to them.

After this post, Cranbiz's going to have a second thought about ever getting to know who I am in real life, except to keep his distance. But again, he's not one of the ones I'd like to see emoticonned.

Could we make an emoticon group just for violent emoticons? And then fill it so it's the biggest category there is?

There. I feel so much better now. Until the next time I think of the scammers, anyway.

Ahem.

As far as the phases of the MiMs system, I have a post ready, but before I make it, I think I should find out just how much information is still classified until the entire system is released.

There are quite a few bugs to be worked out of the system, but once it is completed, I think it's going to be a very positive thing for Disney Transport.

You know, it's sad that bus drivers have to scam Disney out of the money... and piss off guests. What's sadder is that supervisors have no way to track/handle this. I know for a fact I have waited for >40 minutes for a bus to MK from PoP Century.... way too long half an hour before opening.

So you and Cranbiz have never met? I'm kinda surprised, I suppose, though I'm not sure why.

My bad, I'll rephrase that. Cranbiz's going to have a second thought about ever having met me in real life. I assure you, I know exactly who he is, and he doesn't know yet which planet I'm from.

No, it's not Gallifrey. After my last post, I wouldn't be surprised if my battlecry was "EXTERMINATE!"

BigWall, you got this right! Such a valid Disney post! :D: Only CMs can totally understand; "the system is in but no one knows how to use it." Too true, too true!

Wallaby?

Have you heard of the concept of Karma? Don't let the idiots get to you!

Karma will get them in the end.

I am not a Disney employee and doubt they would ever take me. I can relate through friends, family, myself, etc.

My father dealt with idiots who would spit sunflower seed shells all over the machine shop. Them idiots nearly fried an expensive piece of machinery because the clogged up the cooling system's air vents.

I have been in places where I did all the work while others screwed around doing nothing. I have seen the bosses who did not know how to run a business.

Can we get a fire extinguisher for Wallaby? It is called righteous indignation and justified. I would love to meet you and would not be afraid of you. You sound like my dad after a day at work. Angry about people who do not do their job right or who are lazy. You sound like my uncle Johnny who over 40 years ago was mad that the workers would spend a lot of money on fancy shoes but would not wear safety shoes or boots at work.

I want to hug you Wallaby and will hope that they get me as a GSM there as I would be cracking the whip but only on the bad people. I would be taking you to lunch on me of course. I can dream of riches and a good job. Wait that is a Disney job, right, so cancel the last sentence, lol.

If I was actually ANGRY about it, I wouldn't post about it. Or if I did, it wouldn't be with any attempt to be entertaining.

I've always believed that if something actually angers me, I don't air it here, as it's not the responsible place to do that... especially since I've associated my name with who I am. If I post something here, my hope is to tell the story and make you guys laugh a little, to relate to the community here, because we all go through the same stuff, just in different forms. So please don't read any actual anger into my posts, unless I specifically say "I am angry about this". And again, then I am going to wait until any anger subsides before I make a post. This is an awesome place to vent, and I would hate to ruin it by making a post out of anger. So now, you know where I post from, and I get the feeling it's the same way so many others here do it, too. Indignant, yes; but angry, never.

We have met, I'm not sure what planet Wallaby is from but it's friendly. :p:

We may have ample opportunity to get to know each other further. I just got laid off from my full time job and may go FT. If that happens, we will probably have many days together.
