But then, if everyone had common sense, we wouldn't have a need for SGT.com. Much as I love coming here, right now I can't help but think how nice that would be.
Has someone told TPTB yet? MUST be done right awy! She is RUDE and DANGEROUS!!!! I would hate to be a rider on HER bus and have her putting not only HER passenger's lives in danger BUT, all the other buses as well. This is totally unacceptable. SAFETY is first and foremost when I am the THE WORLD. If I feel I am in danger (Very rarely happens) I do not want to be on that bus or attraction or whatever. She needs to be disciplined and retrained or go drive for Mears  And when I am at the world, how do I make sure I get your or Cranbiz's bus, I wanna ride with you two..... :D:

Man it's scary to see some of the people that they hire to drive those buses. Fortunately, I think those drivers are the minority, and I hope the majority are like you all: safe and courteous. (Emphasis on the safe)
My GF and I are going down to the World this coming weekend and, since we are flying, will be using Disney Transport all weekend. I can only hope we never get the driver you all are talking about. I can assure you that if we do and see her pull things like you've mentioned in here, I'll be headed over to talk to GR/Dispatch/someone. Disney has a reputation for safety, and it's drivers like you that help keep it that way on the roads. I'd hate for her to ruin things.
We will be arriving at the resort via DME, which I understand is run by Meers. That ought to be fun. *rolls eyes*

Oops, yeah, couldn't remember how it's spelled. From what I hear, the DME desk at the airport is kinda obvious.

Yes it is. Get off the plane, head to toward baggage claim. Board the tram to the main terminal, go down the steps or escalator and DME is on the left, before the rental car counters (Baggage claim is on the right).
Have fun!

I will be at the other site reading Zazu's masterpieces which cover many posts and word but eloquently. Thank you for the lovely post and I have to tell you something very important about the airport. There is a magical land not far from the airport and next time you really should go see it. There are lakes and green grass, good food, nice beds to sleep in, and lots of places to see. I liked driving outside the airport because of the vast green beltways.

Someone really needs to be out in the field, as all of the Signal 4's this weekend should indicate. And how about the drivers who don't even know where they are on property. The driver of the Nova that broke down on the overpass on BVD at the ramp to World Dr calls it in and said that he was on Osceola Parkway on the overpass leading to World Dr and want's to know why maintenance is not there yet! Zone 2 repeats his location and he confirms it.
I could be mistaken, but isn't one of the components of MiMs a built-in GPS transceiver? Doesn't Dispatch (or someone) have a way of looking at the GPS readout to see where any specific bus is?

AFAIK (Just from what I've read) MiMs is not yet on all buses, and even where present, the GPS system hasn't been activated. I think.

In phase 1 (meaning now) the only active part is the GPS triggered spiels and background music. Phase 3 will go automated with the GPS tracking system fully active. So while it is a component of MiMs, it's not on yet.
