My first SGT.
Someone asked me where Spaceship Earth was. While exiting Spaceship Earth. I gave her directions to Imagination!. :D:
It is not Fast Track, it is Test Track. It is not Orgasmic, it is Fantasmic. It is not Innovations, it is Innoventions. It is not Disney Zoo, it is Animal Kingdom. It is not Network Neighborhood, it is Global Neighborhood.

At the time, were you near the entrance to the attraction? If you were on the back side, I can see how they might miss it. Remember, people are clueless in the parks, they don't want to have to think too much, and that is, on some level, what we provide for the adults in the group.
Now, if you were standing right at the entrance, that is a whole 'nuther deal. In that case, kudos. Although I would have given them directions around Futureworld and back to where you were standing.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: My first SGT.
I've been wanting to tell this, and I guess it sorta fits as it's about SSE...
I was in Epcot as a guest, and overheard the SG say to another guest, while looking up at SSE...
"I just can't believe they tore down that beautiful castle and put up that stupid ball!"
I think I actually stopped dead as I was walking and stared at him, just to make sure he wasn't joking. Then I just shook my head and walked away.

Re: My first SGT.
Excellent job WhirlWindSpin
(I was looking for a thumbs up, but couldn't find it)
Last night I'm coming back to MK. I just finished my "at the park" spiel
"When you get off of the bus, look down. You will find a Red sidewalk. Follow that Red sidewalk to get to the one and only entrance to the Magic Kingdom. You can also follow the same sidewalk to ferry and monorail transportation if you want or need to go to a resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon."
So what question do I get from a family of SG's when exiting the bus?
"How do I get to the monorail?"
My directions, "Follow the Red sidewalk to the ferry, get on the ferry. It will take you to the monorail station."

The thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons are just below the message composition window. Scroll down next time you write something and there they'll be!Cranbiz wrote:Excellent job WhirlWindSpin(I was looking for a thumbs up, but couldn't find it)
I'll see if I can copy them into the smiley list when I get home. Right now I'm aboard the Disney Magic in mid-Atlantic and paying 30 cents/minute for access time.

Re: My first SGT.
Let me get this straight, Zazu... You got a spot on the Magic's repositioning cruise to Spain, full of glorious at-sea days surrounded by Disney magic (lower-case 'm') and endless activities and relaxation opportunities... and you're spending time (at added expense, no less) reading and posting here????Zazu wrote:The thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons are just below the message composition window. We're honored, of course, but I just cannot wrap my brain around that. :)

Ok Zazu, I was a Stupid CM. I didn't think that those would work in the message body.
Enjoy your cruise, don't worry about it.
