Now you know why many of us drape the mic over the GPS box. Besides, those mic holders are always in a hard to reach place.

My day was not as adventureous as yours, but it started off on a difficult note.

I have not been in the MK dispatch computer for 14 weeks, somehow something is not alligned right with the schedulers computer. Now as of last Sunday, I have been there (which makes Miss Connie and Mr. Bill happy) and you think that all is good. Well I go in yesterday at 1945, get to MK, and
I'm informed that I was susposed to be there at 1745. So I'm a nocall no show. Great! However, my schedule showed 1945. I had a copy of my schedule and the portal showed 1945. Zone 2 was able to get the schedule changed, thank goodness. Why can't a company like Disney get a simple thing like CM's schedules right.

1. They are owners of major health related businesses secretly.
2. Sorry that is not my department, try costuming.
3. Then what would SGT and other sites do with out all these incidents.

Be thankful you actually had proof you were right and they believed you.

The sad part of that? I've seen it multiple times now at MK Dispatch. So that taught me really quickly to print out my schedule often.

I almost got termed once because of that sort of computer mismatch. I had gotten approved for a vacation, and so took it. The day I came back, I was promptly summoned to the office and told I was being terminated.

"What are the charges?" I asked.

"Six conscutive no-call, no-shows."

"Oh really? And what were the dates of those no-shows?"

He shows me his sheet, and I show him my sheet with the same days off marked "ADO Approved". :readit:

"Oh," he said.

"You're going to make this go away, right?"

"Looks like I'd better."

"Yup. Can I go play with the trains now?" :locomotiv

Gawd, I read Zazu's post right before bed last night, and had a horrible nightmare. I had been termed for getting 38 points in the short time I have been here. No talking to at 3, 6, 12 or any other number, but I now had 38 points. I didn't understand what any of the points were for, I hadn't done any of this stuff. It was awful.

I went to "sleep" in my dream, and woke up about a month later. I came to find out they had either been putting the wrong perner in the computer or something, and those points, as I expected, weren't mine. Unjustly termed.

That's when I woke up. Time to go to work.

Oh great! It's not enough that I'm responsible for personally destroying the vacations of dozens of guests per year, now I'm causing bus drivers to have nightmares?

As a former railroad conductor, all I can think to say is, "Go me!" :rocker:

All the more reason not to read before bed :p:

Why should you be any different from anyone else?

MY GOD, They did it to me again.

Bus Ops called me yesterday asking if it was possible to come in due to a severe shortage of drivers. (Many FT drivers called in sick, due to the unhappiness with the current contract negotiations). OK I can use the money so I said sure, and I come in for a 6pm to 2:30am shift.
Now I work that with no problems and get ER'ed for 1:30AM (I drove the Pluto shuttle until 1:05am)

Go to the portal today to make sure that my ER was properly recorded and see that I am scheduled for a 6:45am to 3:15pm shift at AK and I'm a NoCall NoShow................WHAT!!!!!!!!

My availability is listed as Fri 6pm to 5am, Sat 5am to 5am and Sun 5am to 5am, I cannot work a weekday morning shift and I'm not trained for AK!

I call scheduling and ask WTF. I do you a favor and get repaid this way?

Scheduling checks and say's that they don't show me as scheduled. She checks NOBrain and sure enough, I'm there.

She fixes it but I'm getting real tired of checking on them every day.

I really like this job, but now I see why the FT drivers are fed up with the BS.
