I am rather sensitive to perfumes so there is nothing worse that sitting next to a person reeking of aftershave or perfume.

Is the maggot ok and did it survive, if not where can I send a sympathy card?

Keep in mind, City Hall is closed and Mgmnt. is a skeleton crew. Which
greenlights my total inner-biatch. In fact, I've found GN's to be downright
theraputic. :duh: :chainsaw: :poke: :whip:
You are on target Natural! CMs are very laid back during Grad Nights. Very few watching & no CM Evals. A friend & I decided we work Grad Nights for all the theraputic potlucks. ]

No. As he said, it was MORE than enough. So that tells me they did the job.

The thing I really hate, as a bus driver, is when someone waits until you arrive, takes their last puff and throws the cigarette as the doors open, steps on as they let it out, and it all stays right up there in the driver's compartment. Or they'll be in line, and take the last drag right as they get to the door. Does it really help to take that last drag four seconds later?

Meanwhile, there are the people like my wife's father, who is extremely respectful about it. He smokes in his home, but you would never know it walking into his house. Or, we'll be watching a movie at his place, I look over and he's lit up and almost done, and I never realized he was doing it.

I would guess your guests were part of that first group.

Oh, I've got my stick ready for tonight, since we're allowed to poke the SG's. It's a very special stick that I brought from Oregon. It's from a tree that I planted as a sapling in Kindergarten, and is now over 30'. Very special stick.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Speaking of about sensitive to perfumes, there is a really sad story about that in where I live right now. And, Big Wallaby, it was in a middle of my city's "work to rule" campaign by bus drivers. I do not know who is right or wrong, but when a woman decides to put on "so much perfume" on her body, it calls into question how much is too much. Two different bus drivers embarrassed her in front of other people because the smell was so strong, according to them. Other people within those buses sides with her. Now, a human rights case was put forward by the woman and the city transit is about to hold a strike vote. Is this just great for us "normal" people, huh?

I got a scene for you Wallaby.

Wallaby: I am sorry ladies and gentlemen but there will be a short delay do to pollution.

Wallaby pulls out a fan and fans away so as to get the smoke out of the front of the bus. Very thorough starting a few rows back. Throws in a hacking cough.

No smoking in line, on rides or busses must mean you can take a big drag and hold it until you are on an elevator, bus or in line. I wish smokers would aim down wind from me and not in my face either.

Wallaby, now you know why I cannot work for Disney.

The maggot is in the dead cockroach position.

Did you attempt to revive the poor thing? Kinda hard doing CPR on it.

During Spring Break crazy I encountered a very rude guest & will never forget her because I had her nailed before she got to my cash wrap. ;) I was at Pluto, in Emporium, had been ringing for 3 hrs., & my line was half way to DLand wall (shirts, purses, hats) when I hear; "Isn't this line moving?" I ignored the SG because we were slammed & it was obvious all CMs were working as fast as possible. Again I hear, "This line isn't moving at all!" "Isn't anyone aware this line isn't moving?" I just knew this guest felt she was a princess & laughed thinking she might be from Beverly Hills. Looked down the line at her & told her my line was moving & I'd be with her asap. She retorts, "Well, I've been in this line forever & I want it to move!" At this point mob rule rather took over & helped me. There are times mob rule is so great at DL. The guest finally gets up to the counter & of course I did draw her #. I smiled, chatted & listened to her hollow apology while ringing. Came time for her ID. I almost fell over as my inner thoughts were correct. How ironic was this? Her CA. ID read Princess ....... & her address was Beverly Hills. :D: CMs can spot em. :waves:

We had quite a few arrogant jerks this month:

I had a family that thought our pool was their personal bathtub. I had to stop the mom from undressing the four year old, soap in her hand..

Another was the teenagers that decided it would be funny if they went to breakfast and took about 6 muffins each and have a food fight in the parking lot..

The dad who wanted his room comped because of the kids that were running through the hallways at 6am. Yes, I said "dad."

The jackass that lied about having a disability (I am from out of state and left my placard at home) and yelled at me he is paying SO MUCH for his room and how dare we not have ample spaces..

The idiots that made their toilet overflow and STILL complained to my GM that I had no guest service even after I plunged their toilet personally at 3am..

My personal fave was the family that tried to climb up to the roof to see the fireworks better..and then got mad when we asked them to come down for their safety..

Oh yeah, fun stuff.
