pffft.

we all know Gigli is the new Citizen Kane.

But seriously... it is sad that kids today know nothing about film or literature.

I went to the bookstore to get a new copy of Dandelion Wine.

I had to tell the kid who Ray Bradbury was....

kid: "oh, i mostly just read comics..."

"Habla espanol?" and they don't even speak to you in Spanish afterwards.

"Do you know anything about this ride?"

"Which line is for the ride and which one is for the tour?"

Those are my top three stupid questions.

I like the "Do your work here?" ones. Especially when Im wearing my miner's outfit or Ghost Town outfit (Cowboy hat, suspenders, plaid flannel or denim shirt, jeans, and a bandana sticking out of my pocket). I tell them Im just trying real hard to look like Farmer John. ;)

Talking about the character, Micky Mouse:

"You seen a guy walking around as Mickey Mouse?"

Me: No, can't say I have.

Some people don't believe in the magic!

Well, at least you won't get the "who's Tom Sawyer?" at Disneyland anymore.

Meh, Pirates Cove, my ass!!!

Still bugs me. All you kids SHOULD know who Tom Sawyer is. Little spoiled bastards. Don't they teach reading in school anymore?

They teach reading, but ol' Tom and Huck might be a little too un-PC for today's youths  I got lucky, I read Huck Finn my junior year. I liked it :D: Unfortunately there are so many schools that are taking time out of the reading curriculum to teach kids how to take standardized tests now (still in thesis mode from classes). grumble grumble.

Today at Astroland, they had me in the Arcade at the booth, where you trade in your tickets for a prize. Well, i took this guys tickets, he had about 43 and looked at me and asked, "Where's my change?" I just starred for a second and said, "Wait! What?" He continures on saying, "My change! Don't I get money for the tickets?" I explained to him the whole process, but he just didn't seem to get it, to where he would ask for stuff that wasn't in his range (As does 85% of the people). I finally just picked out stuff for him and sent him on his way.

I also like when people come up to my game or the counter with ride tickets. Or tickets for the wrong park!

SG: Do you work here?
Me: Do I look like I work here?
SG: Yes

I have had people in stores and other places ask if I worked there. No tags or other stuff to imply I work for a store or park, sigh.
