She doesn't work at WDW but one of my co-workers has a name that would make the BEST nametag. We all have our names on the walls outside of our offices where I work, always listed with first initial and last name. One of my colleagues is named Faye and her last name is Yu. I SWEAR outside of her door is a nameplate that reads F. Yu! Too bad she's not a CM. :sparky:

Disney is a bit more strict with nametags. But when I was working at another park in the not to long ago past, I was able to get three name tags- one with my regular name on it, one that said "Curious George", since I was working in a jungle-themed area. And one that said Sir Willow. Had a lot of fun wearing the more "unusual" name tags when we could. heh

While not funny to most people, I was Eugene for a day at my park, and that made all my coworkers laugh. Wardrobe gave my department manager a tag that said "Brain" that he wore for like a week without noticing.

My favorite was a guy that used to work at Plaza Gardens foods (yes, there used to be a restaurant there) back in the 90's....

His name was Phuc....and yes, it was his real name.

I went to high school with Phuc Yu. One day I walked into the coaches office in the field house (I was a football/baseball manager) and they were chewing out another one of the managers. Apparantly he had a class with this guy, and was asked to hand back some papers. Not knowing how to pronouce the name (Hughkk or something like that) he dropped the f-bomb, complete with the YOU after it. Teacher sends him to the office, coaches catch wind of this and give him hell. He's writing the guys name on the board going "what does this look like to you?!?!?" Both coaches knew the kid, so they keep repeating "hughkk". They never let up, a while later they were still having a laugh over it. Good times...

last week me and my family stopped by the frozen lemonade stand over by Splash Mountain and the girl operating the stand had a tag on that said Kennisha (she was very white and did not look anything like a Kennisha). Well I didn't say anything until I got my receipt back and noticed that the name on the receipt said Kelly so I asked her "Is your name Kennisha or Kelly?" She said her name was really Kelly and that she had been Kelly for about 3 months or so and decided it was time for change. I loved how she was able to think on her feet like that.

I was in a car accident last week, where I saw my nametag in the oncoming lanes of I-4, and decided not to reclaim it.

When I went to a manager to get a new one, he gave me a replacement for a while. Good thing I was able to find another. My name tag for "Raphael" just doesn't fit my profile.

While I was wearing it, I had one guest ask me how to pronounce my name. I looked down at the tag and said, "I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Rah- Fai- Ell, but I'm not completely certain of that."

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
