I've been told that if your offense is severe enough to be escorted from the park, then you're generally banned from the property... which means if you're staying in a Disney hotel, your room will be packed and bags left just off-property. At sierra sidewinder we would put 2 trashcans and a chain at the entrance and guaranteed every night at closing, some idiot would jump over the trashcans or ask "is it closed"?

F. Far East as in your bags will be shipped to your last known residence via ground delivery and it first go to some country like Thailand. Oh and sometimes our Cast Members lose things like last week one lost limburger cheese and their favourite wind-up clock in the bags of a disruptive guest. BOOM, gigglesnort, oops the TSA thought there was a stink bomb in the luggage.

I had a guest throw a beer can off a spinning ride while I was working at Six Flags, which got him thrown out of the park.
Had another throw a chair out the front window of the Disney hotel where I was working overnights. He was banned from Disney property. Funny thing about that one, he was mad because his wife had left her purse on the Disney bus. They were on the last bus of the night, and since the purse didn't end up at dispatch, of course the bus driver must have stollen it. He was actually mad at his wife, though, for losing the purse in the first place. He swore at us for not finding it, returned to apologize, paced the lobby for a second, picked up a chair, and flung it through the window. He then immediately realized what he had done and was still apologizing as they hauled him off in handcuffs. I think he WANTED to be thrown out at that point he felt so bad about losing his temper. Hope he got anger management classes.

ANY bad behavior and the employees were encouraged to call security, who pretty much were going to throw the person out if they got called. WE kicked people out for not following safety procedures, line jumping, back talking the employees, or being too roudy. I loved that job!

Yikes. I don't understand getting mad enough to do that. When I was a teen I used to, and then I grew out of it.
So many things SG's do that one should grow out of before they reach about 21 or so...

Many of them don't. I deal with a different kind of SG in my work, but the actions and reactions remain the same. A sense of entitlement, a sense that everyone else's point of view is not important, and a sense that if someone sees or says something differently, they are wrong. those attitude coupled with having never been told they are wrong, because it's not "PC" to correct always leads to trouble.Big Wallaby wrote:Yikes. The CM's are getting the brunt of this, while other professions can, and do, put it back onto the SG.
And you hit the nail on the head about being a teen. I actually had someone tell me they thought it was okay to do something, as "THEY HAD NEVER BEEN TOLD IT WAS WRONG" since they were a teenager. (The person was in her mid thirtys)
Thats how you get a moron throwing a chair through the window, he was having a tantrum.
All the CM's should get a raise when they have to deal with them.
