With the Brazilians and the cheerleaders, I am sure the last 2 weeks were less pleasant for all of you.....but we tried very hard to be good.
We had a couple of irritating moments with other guests....the ones who never learned to take turns or stand in line in kindergarten, the doofus who ignored the line at the desk at Tony's on 2/8 and pushed to the front to check in for his ADR and then hovered over the CMs asking if they were next. He also whacked me in the face with his backpack in the process.

There was also the lovely child who was not only climbing on the railing in line for the Safari, but was LAYING on it. I had my 3 yr old, so I told her "Look out Gainey, this genius is going to end up kicking you in the face" LOUD. Grandma got the hint and told him to stop. Which he did for about 30 seconds. Farther in, a CM saw him and told him to stay off the railing, then picked up the garbage the kid tossed over his shoulder onto the ground. This testament to the bleakness of our future was about 13. He then proceeded to wait until we were farther down and the CM could not see him and climbed up again.
His mom walked over and said "Didn't they tell you not to climb on the railing?"
Hell child replies, "yep"
Mom: "then why are you still up there"
Hell child: "I don't know."
What does mom do? Does she yell? Smack him? Tell him get down?
NOOOOOO. She kisses his forehead and turns away.
I almost lost it. Lucky for us, they ended up in the row behind us on the truck. I was not at all shocked when the driver stopped to say "Sit down!!" to MOM halfway through the Safari. Now I know where Hell Child got it from.

We are DVC members and now have APs. But I swear....we will NEVER act like the SGT's we saw. Never ever. If we do, you have permission to smack us at will. I am NOT jealous that you have to deal with these people.
But I AM jealous of you. For the P&P party, my DD3 asked me to go with her to the Boutique and dress up. So I bought a Snow White gown and she finally decided on the Ariel bride dress and we went and were all dolled up. Now, I am the first to say I will NEVER pass for Snow White, even on my best day. But we went to Tony's for dinner and I was crouched down, helping my little one with her dress when I noticed a little girl, about 5, standing behind her, looking excited. Her Mom was there and said "Snow White is her favorite" I panicked for a second and then put out my hand and she came over. I told her that I was not Snow White, but that I had nothing to wear for the party and Snow White let me borrow one of her gowns because she is, of course, the nicest princess. The little girl showed me her pixie dust. I saw her about 5 times through the night and every time I got the biggest smile and wave from her. It was just awesome. My mom told me I probably made her day. She met someone who KNOWS Snow White. :D: And yes, I am a sap. After they walked away in Tony's, I needed a tissue. :)
I wish it was my job to make a child THAT happy every day. Now I know why you keep doing it even though you have to deal with the idiots. Two minutes like that would keep me going back to work, too. :D: My little one was treated like a princess by every CM we came across. And Mr. Sparrow at the P&P party REALLY made her night. I hope the company realizes you guys are why we keep coming back 3 times a year.
